  1. i have a local shop making them for me... this one cost 15.00 total... but the shirt was 6.00 itself. lol and that was b/c i only did one shirt... if I do like 50+ the cost goes down but i'm not ordering 50 of these. lol
  2. you can't run in the street class in MECA with the middle brace cut out... was in the center of the truck on back wall... David Berger and Mickey Johnson were DQ'd at finals in 2010 for that... it sucked... you will be in modified sir.
  3. Katie modeled this one for me... the "pulsecaraudio.org" is actually straight and even... just her anatomy makes it curvy... hehehe
  4. my buddy Ron (ziggetyzag) has a monte carlo doing 149.7... and its a low tuned ground pounder... more battery power and he'll get the 50... and what he said... rob (thorshammer) has a nasty ass car too... here's a vid of my old honda with two 8's... (would do 147.7 on the dash and at 34-37hz (same score through that range) and a powerbass 3k.... http://www.youtube.com/user/Ziggetyzag26#p/u/75/8t9hdyc_MAE
  5. my girl has the same truck... does a 147.3 with a single 8" and 712 watts. a lot of work is in your future... David Berger has 3 15" in his sdime doing close to a 160 sub forward port up.
  6. Don't forget.... THIS SUNDAY at PULSE CAR AUDIO July 17th.... NSPL with dBDRAG BASS RACE!!! and Thanks to ASCENDANT AUDIO for hooking us up with an Arsenal Series 12" subwoofer to be raffled off!!! BE THERE!!!!
  7. Yep - haven't tested it yet, though. that being the case I would love to see what one would do in the metro...
  8. So... to help put yet another exclamation point on the SMD DD1... today I had a guy drive from Pottsville, PA to my shop in Salisbury, MD (3.5hour drive) with his Saturn... (some met him at Carlisle a few months ago... he runs a pair of Audiopipe 15" subs off a Audiopipe 3k in a Saturn TRUNK car. well... if you were at Carlisle then you know he did a 147.6dB. Not bad. WELL... he got here today... did a test (now you know with weather scores can change, so we wanted a baseline for comparison... 147.2dB AFTER retuning his mids/highs amp and his sub amp... new score... 149.1dB!!! THATS 1.9dB PEOPLE!!!!! YOUR TOOL BOX AWAITS ITS NEW FRIEND!
  9. my apologies on the "nothing in stock" comment then. That's what just about EVERYONE has been saying bout their subs being on backorder... month away or so... I agree Rusty is cool as hell... he talked to me one day and was cool. Very nice dude. So I can agree the customer service is top notch. As far as DD customer service sucking the big one.. I WILL AGREE WITH THAT. They do suck. And DC for the win on that one (only time I'll ever say that Chode!!)... Rusty called me back one day when I asked for him and he wasn't available I said no prob I'll call later... well 5 min later I got a phone call from Rusty.. and I didn't even leave my number. Thats awesome and I even told him that. I have no problems with DC... I've said it before, I truly believe the absolute best subwoofers available today are from DD, DC, AA and Sundown. Period. Those are the brands you see in the lanes tearing it up. Those are the brands some great sounding SQ guys are using... They do it all. There are bandwagon groupies for all four and they are true and loyal to the brand they chose. oh... DD, AA, Sundown and D (cough) C FOR THE WIN.
  10. i'm not against DC... Rusty is cool... I stayed away from carrying DC b/c EVERYONE seems to be a rep for them. Chode, Cherry, and everyone else that has a DC logo in their sig. And Cherry what's so wrong with DD? DD was and still is breaking more records than DC will ever think of. I find it hard to stand behind a line when it's so "whored" out by having EVERYONE and their sister and their baby momma aunt's son a "rep"... kinda speaks lowly of the company if you ask me. oh and order your DC now... oh wait... they have nothing in stock... kinda like T3. edit: and why are you so anti DD???
  11. Everyone is a dc dealer. Go outside a knock on your neighbors door. They probably are.
  12. We are having a 1x point NSPL event at Pulse Car Audio Sunday July 17th at 11am. There will also be Bass Race (dB Drag) at this event. THIS SUNDAY at PULSE CAR AUDIO July 17th.... NSPL with dBDRAG BASS RACE!!! and Thanks to ASCENDANT AUDIO for hooking us up with an Arsenal Series 12" subwoofer to be raffled off!!! BE THERE!!!!
  13. the rebuild of the rebuild of the rebuild? yea of the rebuild rebuild and the other rebuild... this is that rebuild. i'm sure there will be other rebuilds... i'm guessing another 10 rebuilds or so. hahaha
  14. from coverage of SBN... a pic of the amp rack was shown (they snapped a pic while I was working on the "issues" hahaha.. but it's in the mag! June 2011 Rides Magazine page 50.. pic 3
  15. make one. if you don't want to make one... i can for a price. lol
  16. I told Steve I tuned some systems up with it at the show... I counted 11 setups... pretty cool. You are right... it is super easy to use and setup with... infact the more I use it the faster I can do it... Ask Chase... I believe it was under a minute. He was like... "that's it?" lol I believe everyone experienced distortion detection (as TWISTEDCHILD420 says) and said they could even notice a difference (except chode... I set his up then he still touched it before the meter got to it )
  17. reasons: box flex environment of car transfer that jacket laying on the back seat the blow up doll in the front seat bottle of mountain dew in the port cracked window window not rolled all the way up there are actually alot of things
  18. lol and Punky you know if you come here I can help you setup the gains with my super cool dd1. I have love for TDH like that.
  19. It could be that RayOVac battery... I've since switched it to an Energizer and no problems.
