  1. i recently bought some fuses and fuse holders from splzx3 transaction was quick and since i bought them on the weekend, he mailed them at beginning of the week, i received today on saturday everything was good, but i didnt get a tracking number, i think usps makes you pay little extra for a tracking number not sure, but i know you get them, i just bought some wiring from knukoncepts and it came via usps and i had a tracking number the next day after i ordered but all went well, no worries, would do business again he was also helpful in some questions i had thank you splzx3
  2. i filled up other day at 3.38 but next day it shot up to 3.65 i got a 14.4 gal tank get about 25 mpg on highway prolly 18 in town, it lasts a little over a week iu also only get gas at krogers, besides the fact that i do all my shopping there and get the gas discount, it is also the last place in my town to raise gas prices, basically if every gas stations raises its prices kroger wont change theirs until the next morning, theres another gas stations by my school which is also the last full service gas station in town, and they also wait an extra day to change prices, they normally have a line of people that stretches around the corner on a major highway, the turn lane for the intersecting road is normally taken up by people going to the gas station, sadly some people dont realize this and wait in that turn lane forever had a friend sitting in the turn lane for 35min thinking it was just a rush hour, and then realized he was in the gas station line once he got closer, lol
  3. you can get a decent setup for 1000 mine is subs: 250 amp: 250 wire: 150 battery: 120 770 + enclosure materials i havent bought yet, and it will be 2k rms system with a realistic 1500rms give or take...hopefully as for equipment, aq1200d or aq2200d are both great quality underrated ampos for the price, an y number of copanies such as fi, dc audio, sundown, t3 audio, all have decent equipment that can fit within your range
  4. sweet, now do it with a gallon of milk
  5. Ill be honest, I wouldnt be able to tell you how much this sub can handle over its rated rms, i know its well built and given proper enclosure and install, it might, but id go ask ndmstang or someone else that would know more about the plain ssd
  6. upload the screenshot to tin ypic, imageshack or photobucket and copy the link with tags
  7. i dont think its necessarily BS, but if it was an older woman, i would think she may heavily exaggerate her claim most of us have seen people like steve rattling windows across the street and opening up those automatic doors, so we know what it takes, so i seriously doubt the rattling part was real from a block away
  8. thats nice, i only just heard about this "park and pound" today in chat, lol people were like WTH is park and pound now we know awesome score considering placement
  9. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AZ01EO this is the router i use and its done me good, never had an issue it was easy for me to setup
  10. i cant wait to get a new h/u so i can put all his songs on my phone and use the space on there or a usb drive as well, i got a 60gb one of those decaf definitely is win
  11. I agree 100% with you. Audiosavings is a great site, don't get me wrong. But some of their products I heard aren't the best. And I don't want to tell my friend to go buy some subs that aren't the best. That thread would be great. MAKE MAGIC HAPPEN Kynto! Start that thread! Haha. For me, I'm presonally going to get the SA's with an AQ2200D. And he doesn't have the money for that, so I don't know. He could get 2 Sundown with an Aq1200D for 500$.. but he wants a HU and speakers. :/ i may make that thread, lol maybe look around on here and caco for some decent used but good quality equipment
  12. lol, so your gonna be nice for your friend and have others find him a good setup and then say hey i told you id help ya out, when a simple message could get ya fixed up honestly i havent been to auduiosavings in a while, i do know they are good people though, and i do not know the reliability of all the equipment, but they do often have bundles that will almost completely have you setup up for a decent price to be honest, i think we should do a thread where we find the best setups within a certain range give or take 100 bucks, ranges would be like 500-100-1500 and so on, that way threads like this wouldnt need to be bothered with, not saying there is anything wrong with this thread, but would help a lot of people out with budgets we can have alternate equipment listed within same price range too
  13. check out audiosavings.com go talk to ram, hes in chat pretty often, that would prolly be best place to get a decent setup for under $500
  14. did you try google, a few times on chem homework i would just google the exact question and yahoo answers would more often than no have the right answer, lol
  15. black cherry FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nice sub too
  16. For sale is a Fi SSd 12 I bought from sonicpurity on here few months back, I never got to use it much sadly, i had it in an oversized box underpowered for maybe a week or so, then gave the box away and havent had any bass since Upgrading to 2 15s, so I am trying to get rid of the last of my previous setup to get ready for my first proper build sonicpurity said this was the 2009 model, and it was barely used when he had it and still barely used from my having it Product: Fi SSD 12 inch Subwoofer Specs: (as many as I know, i tried to get specs form fi site but they are redoing the ssd section) dual 2 ohm 800rms when sonicpurity did a test on the coils they read 1.8, i did a test with my dmm (cheapo) and it read 2 when i got them, and they still read 2.0 (although you will notice the last digit doesnt work right, but i did watch it count down to 2, so at the worse it might be 2.1, but the way the numbers are messed you cant ell when the digit changes form 2 to 1 sorry for my cheapo dmm cant remember much else Price: 150 Shipped Continental US I would prefer local but i know not many around me are on here, i have never shipped a subwoofer, so if anyone does buy this, please give me time to get appropriate materials to ship the subwoofer properly trades: open to trades of equal value pretty much got everything i need for my next build minus the materials to build the enclosure, and those will prolly be easier to get locally, lol Here come the pics
  17. You want a well versed portfolio of nothing but quality work. You want to show that you are versatile in what you can do skill-wise. Show work from as many programs as possible also to show that you have a wide array of knowledge in graphic design based programs. Time is very important, you have to be able to meet deadlines, almost every project will give you a deadline you have to meet. Deadlines and being able to communicate professionally with clients are probably the most important aspects besides having the skill to be a graphic designer. Treat every project no matter how small, like its that big project youve been waiting for, take care and make the best quality work you can and be sure to stick to deadlines, if there isnt a deadline, give yourself one and try to meet it. Show initiative, dont be worried about criticism, it can b e a tough business and if you cant take critiquing, your in the wrong one. Be able to receive negative feedback and use it to better yourself. Also as much as it is good to have a wide range of abilities, be sure not to spread yourself out to thin, you need to also know where your strong points, if you spread your abilities too far out, some of your better skills may suffer from it. A lot of people in the industry specialize in a certain field, such as layout design, or image manipulation, or digital matte painting, or something else along those lines btw, lived in austrlaia for 3 years, adelaide to be exact, i saw many horrendous ads, not saying thats just australia, i see plenty crap in usa too, so do work and be good at it
