So any horrific ideas guys? So far I have; employing the ceo's and such of these companies into harsh jobs such as miners that work in very dangerous positions and pay them horribly(ceo's) to show them what it is like on the other end of the scale. Constructing massive facilities/factories in the major cities of the nation to bring all the production work here and provide jobs. Eliminate the minimum wage laws to create competition; cutting down on the people living off unemployment. Remove unemployment checks to force people to work.

I think a good place to start is with the deal MI just struck up with GE. I just heard they are opening their global IT center not far from here and hiring 1200 people. See what incentives they were offered and go from there. I have plenty of idea's, but honestly, they aren't "modest". Coming from Detroit gives me a unique and often unpopular view on things. A "Modest proposal" is a propositional paper trying to solve England's poor problem by feeding their babies to the rich. I am not asking for a "modest" change, that's just the name of the paper that I need to use as a guideline. So bring on your gross ideas! I've gotten a couple good leads from you guys, thanks a lot

Hmmm interesting point with the power supply, because the graphics card requires 2 power plug ins. Never thought of that, Ouch only 330w. Probably my problem, time to go to frys and get a 600+ supply. Weird that I have never had a problem with this power supply, and I've run COD 1,2,4,5 - Starcraft 2 - and Warcraft with no problems. Oh and no i didn't unplug anything, good suggestion though

Okay so I upgraded my monitor and graphics card today. Put in a nvidia geforce gts450 and 23" acer monitor. I uninstalled the old graphics drivers (nvidia geforce 8400gt) and installed the new drivers for the 450. Turned up the graphics in Black Ops to 1920x1080, now after I load a server it immediately pulls of the message "Lost connection to host" with any server I go into. What is causing this? I know I didn't uninstall any network programs. Also, I still cannot connect to the servers if i turn down the graphics. Any help is greatly appreciated!

A couple days ago my dash battery light turned on and now it won't start. Starter is clicking and acting like a dead battery. I put in a new battery and it ran fine for a day (dash light still on). Died over night, I can't find a parasitic drain anywhere, I replaced the alternator and it started up. As I was driving that same day of replacing the alt my audio system clipped. I found one of my amp power wires melted to the headers and grounding out, so I for sure thought that this was the source of drain. However I was wrong, so I replaced my battery cables and cleaned the solenoid. Still acting like the battery is dead and sometimes the starter clicks and sometimes it doesn't. It will start right up if I jump it though. I cannot find any source of a short either. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Alex

Blacked out Lamborghini Reventon

Hey guys, I have an 81' Camaro with a 5.7 350 in it right now. I am wanting to eventually drop a supercharged 383 stroker in. I'm pretty sure I have a turbo 350 tranny in(Just bought it) and I know there is a shift kit. The tranny is a brand new rebuild with about 100 miles. Would I need a new tranny and rear end? Also, would all my accessories from the 5.7 350 transfer to the 383, or would I need to do all that over? Thanks alot
