why is it that the farther away u get from the subs the louder it gets

do you need a degree (or do u have to go to school) to be a car audio proffesional or just to know everything there is about car audio and i mean everything !! if so is there any schools that have a program for it ??? maybe like electronics or something ??

actually go to jl audio website look these up and it says thermal power 300 rms if u dont believe the jl website them selves ... i got one of these excact model and everything overpowering it by about 150 total rms is about 450 (i know its the wrong thing to do but i got no choice its a 2 channel so etheir bridge it or underpower it) had it for over a year and a half and it sounds just like new very very clean bass and in my opinion thses subs are worth over $120 a piece if i had the money i would gladly pay that ....lol so this price is very reasonable just lettin u know u wont be disappointed... o and more info the cone never gets hot and it doesnt distort at all ..all u gotta do is setup ur gains right just to make it easier for u http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?series_id=16 ooo and its 600 max and 300 rms

dammm right man same songs just slam and others dont even hit the lows after i added the epicenter so yeah man dont go to los swap meets cuz those guys just cut a slot on a box and call it a port

i have heard alot of mixed reviews and comments about kicker products . Like that they suck for sound quality, they dont pick up alot of the lows, there subs dont last that long because of cheap materials . stuff like that.. in the other hand i have heard great reviews . Is this true in ur opinions or experience?? I am not that experienced with kicker products but the few that ive have gotten to hear i thought they were pretty decent and sounded pretty good spl and sq wise , i havent gotten to compare side by side to fosgate or jl audio stuff .. so my question is can u compare the quality from kicker to fosgate jl audio ... because i really their quality but am not to sure about kicker i would like to experience with them in the future . anyones opinions would help

well actually ive done installs on both and theyre about the same the grand cherokee maybe alittle easier since its shorter but mounting amps under the rear seat of a tahoe hmm peace of cake lol

right alot of back breaking work but i think its fun to do am kinda feeling $100 on dis one
