  1. at my local home depot, it was $45 a sheet and i used two for my single 18" box
  2. if you can afford it, go with birch double baffle the top, all thread for bracking and glass the inside and you should be good
  3. no problem dude! im always down to help a fellow bass head all thread is easy to use just run the rod through the box and us nuts and washers to pull the walls together until its nice and tight
  4. everytime i needed to use my cordless drill it was almost dead cause i always forgot to charge it so i got me a corded dewalt drill for $20 from a co worker you could stain the birch.. thats what im doing with my box staining actually sounds like a pretty good idea..i'm not sure how it would look with the interior of my explorer though yea my tahoe has wordgrain on the doors and dash so it matches

  9. Haha damn I wish I could put 4 18's in my crv but I wanna do 1 18 because that's pretty much all I can do it 1 18 and I go above the back window line by like 4"... maybe do a beast 15"?
  10. if your not gunna compete i wouldnt worry about it if you are try to stay below the window line if your not gunna wall it im trying to stay below the window line in my burban with 4 XL 18"S
  11. also need to check the sub up box and port up box too if this is for subs up port up you said yal could go up a lil on height so i took it up 1" the overall outer dimnsion height of this would be 30.75" with a double baffle Incase one of yal is on mobile- 30"H-59"W-20"D 212.75 square inches of port (16.39" per cube) tuned around 33Hz before bracing once you add some bracing your NET will shrink some and tuning will go up but not much (very little if you use dowel or all thread) close to 13 cubes net and left the bracing open cause i dont know what yal will be using
  12. subs up port up or subs up port forward? your design with the height of your port is port forward correct? if it was up it would be 18.5" high for either 2-3 common walls
  13. With the amount of power you will be giving them until you get some real power on them, I'd go 6.5-7 cubes net each Then when you get the real power on them you can shrink the box down I'll mess with a design in a Lil bit for ya
  14. Nice! im in the same boat awaiting a XL 18" and ive got my box almost finshed too
