Ok.. this brings another question that I need help with asap. The amp (ovn1-5500d) Power acoustik 5500 watt gothic series, etc. Pos Pos Neg Neg It doesnt say its bridgable.. so can i still hook it up.. Left pos / Right neg and leave the other pos and neg in the middle alone. Help me out here.. was hookin it up today.. and realized it didnt say bridged like the other amps ive had so.. HELP please and thanks. yes that is fine its internally bridged for ease of wiring you will be fine hooking it up like you said For real? ok sweet, thanks so much.. that halted my work.. but i need a bit to predrill some holes in the box i made for my subs.. I got everything all hooked up just need a damn bit now lol and that question.. Actually.. I got another question. does the wire fully matter for now. I got 8g wire for the subs.. and i ran out of wire to actually run from the amp to the sub terminals. Does it matter if the wires thick.. its 8g but it has like 8 strands.. instead of like 100 little strands.. will that make a difference? plan on buyin some more in the future.. just ran out and keep getting kicked in the ass. as long as its 8 gauge its fine if you wanna order some 8 gauge this is what i use for wiring my subs and its not that expensive http://darvex.com/store/pc/Stinger-HPM-Series-8-Gauge-Blue-Power-Ground-Wire-54p649.htm

not enough space 4 15" So you have a large van and not enough room to do 4 15s subs up port back?? the middle seat is out from the van for my wheelchair and the back seat is for the kids So you wanna do 4 15s behind the third row? How much air space can you get back there? If you can't do subs up port back Then do subs up port up like someone else already said

thats eight bolts 1 coil of each sub goes to a set of bolts the other coils is connected + to - with 8 gauge EDIT: just saw your edit lol the other 4 voice coils are connected together just like the diagram Yes I fixed my post to say voice coils instead of bolts (told you it was late and my head hurts!) I hope you mean the + from one coil and the - from the other coil (on the same sub) other wise you are only using 1 coil from each sub and thus getting your .5 ohm reading (4 2ohm coils in parallel) thats eight bolts 1 coil of each sub goes to a set of bolts the other coils is connected + to - with 8 gauge EDIT: just saw your edit lol the other 4 voice coils are connected together just like the diagram Yes I fixed my post to say voice coils instead of bolts (told you it was late and my head hurts!) I hope you mean the + from one coil and the - from the other coil (on the same sub) other wise you are only using 1 coil from each sub and thus getting your .5 ohm reading (4 2ohm coils in parallel) that is what im doing didnt now it needed to be the positive of one coil connected to the negative of the OTHER coil i will rewire them tommorow and see if it fixes it either way if it was a .5 ohm load the AQ2200D handled it like a champ thanks for the help alright rewired it and that was my problem! im at 1 ohm now thanks for the help man my 4 L7 15s on a single AQ2200D is almost as loud (to the ear) as with four crunch GPV2000.1s one one each sub at one ohm plan is to have two AQ2200Ds strapped at 1 ohm so is 4 D2 subs in parallel a .25 or .5 ohm load??
