  1. got mine in the mail today. going to go play with it sat. my buddys bringing his tl over ima see if i can better my 151s
  2. Got 4 tracking numbers yesterday. Ordered 4 lvl 3 15s may 18th.
  3. rewiring my stuff for the weekend and putting my 2nd amp in. would it hurt or help anything adding a extra amp to speaker terminals (bolts) and a extra 8 gauge wire for amp to amp strapping. the amps are 2 dc 2kws and the subs are 3 18s
  4. the dash is going to be smoothed and painted plus the truck doesnt have heat or ac so a little glass work will be done so who knows what ill come up with lol
  5. Actually have new headlights came with the truck. I was goin to upgrade dashs but I like being dif prolly stick with stock since I have the stock cluster and it's a 117,000 mile truck ppl don't belive me lol
  6. actually all i had to do was post this i may of actually found a complete dash on craigslist after i called on some door panels. cleanseirra that sucks about the truck mines not even titled in my name yet if it disappeared id shit haha. and as for lmc they honestly what more then i paid for the truck. picked this up for 1700 just missing the dash door panels and headliner

  9. i took these in for some work i done. they have less then 1 month of use on them. they was in a camaro plate box in a friends car on a 500 rms @ 1 ohm amp. the subs was wired to 2 ohm ao they have never gotten power yet specially for only 1 month. i am in need of some 15s or 18s or to flat out sell these. im just going to say 220 plus shipping but dont be afraid to make me a offer. i have many refs. on here if you need there names just ask. heres arcs website info. http://www.shopatron.com/products/productdetail/part_number=ARC12/1735.0.46299.55624.0.0.0

    i just picked up a truck im trying to build as a budget truck. its got a full custom int. so i have room for as many speakers as i want. so what kinda used 6.5s do ya have? i dont want cheap crap and if more then 1 pair id like them to be matching. id really like 3 pair or so. thanks

  13. I broke a dc 2k mounting it on my 3 18 wall. Busted some stuff off the board. The box is braced very good. I'm moving my amps as soon as this one gets back
  14. nothing exciting just got some more wiring done and score a good friend hookup on another pair of pr 6.5s for the back deck. slowly getting my trunk cleaned up and batterys mounted and hopefully mounting the amps this weekend. after that ill be done till the subs get here.
  15. I'm wait just like I have been just tired of it. I do know it cost them atleast one order my buddy canceled his 4 15 order and another almost canceled his. I know if there's any sort of back orders next time I will go somewhere else. This winter I'm planning on ordering 2 xl 18s and selling my lvl 4s but after this it's got me thinking

  17. i think its stupid they order lvl 2 and xl parts first when not everyone can afford a xl but ordered 4 lvl 3 15s in may before some of the people getting there subs already. they should of ordered parts to do all the subs and actually done them in order of who ordered them.
  18. i also forgot to put when i first put the new run of 0 in it worked fine for prolly a week. it just started all the sudden today out of no where. ive been doin audio for over 10 years this is the first time this has happened also first sony amp i ran. i should jst burn the amp i think its my honda rejecting the pos amp
  19. also ya i forgot to put but i did remove the dis block and tried a dif one and tried without a dif block. but no i didnt get to check the imp from the bat and amp - my dmm doesnt do that to well its been tho hell somehow the only part that works right is the voltage part.
  20. i ran out of daylight to pull the battery and amp out and test it like that im planning it tomarrow after work. i did try the amp outside the car with a dif battery jut never took the one out of the car and tried it. and if the pos. run was grounding out there would be at least a small spark or a little wire meltage going on. also i did check the battery with a dmm watch the video man. the run of pos is less then 2 weeks old and is covered in loom the whole way from to back as well its a little stupid thing i do even in my truck all 4 runs is covered in loom. tomarrow i do plan on barrowing a amp from a buddy trying a different amp and if nothing else pulling the run of pos out and looking it over. i have all day after work tomarrow to work on it again i just ran out of light today. also with the amp hooked up outside the car it sounds just like it did the day i got it. so i really dont think its the amp but ive been wrong before
  21. amp works perfectly fine when hooked to a different battery. the only bad thing is this is my only amp i have layin around so i cant swap in a different one and try it. i still dont think theres a problem with the amp since it works fine on just battery power outside the car.
  22. i have tried everything from changing the fuse and fuse holder, checking and recleaning all my grounds even added 2 new ones, checked all my solder joints, checked the amp outside the car, charged the battery. whats happening is the car running reads 14.3 volts at the battery fuse and rear dis block. the second i hook the amp up and turn the cd player on the voltage at the dis block drops to 6 volts all the way to the fuse holder but at the battery it still reads 14.3 volts. heres some videos to show what is happening. in this video the dis block is reading 14.3 volt with the car running when i put the power wire to it for the amp nothing happens and it drops to 6 volts again. the silver wire is hooked to a spare battery i grounded in the trunk. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v358/dubbedcorde/?action=view&current=0726112100.mp4 this video shows me testing at the fuse holder. it reads 6 volts yet at the end when i dropped the dmm it reads 14.3 at the battery. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v358/dubbedcorde/?action=view&current=0726112127.mp4 this is at the rear dis block with the car running 14.3 volt i touch the power wire to the amp with the cd player on and it shows it dropping to 6 volts. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v358/dubbedcorde/?action=view&current=0726112054.mp4 the car has the big 3 done with some extra grounds. it has 1 run of knu cca wire front to rear. its had 2 dif fuses under hood i changed them out testing. the batter is less then a month old its a Shuriken BT-20. im running a small battery up front since i will be adding 2 large batterys in the rear once my subs get here. the only thing i have not done is changed batterys under hood since the car runs, starts, and the battery tests good on a dmm even with the brights on the ac on and the car idleing it seems fine. anyone have any ideas im all ears i am confused to say the least
  23. ya racking the rad keeps it out of the mud and it doesnt clog up and in the winter it keeps ya nice and warm. i burnt up 3 rad fans from them being underwater. and once i racked the rad i havent had a single problem besides 3 axles and 1 tie rod but hey its on 29.5s haha
