I planned on building a new box for my BTL 18" 6.5 cubes with 4 6" aeroports, is there such thing as too much port area with aeroports or no?

I don't know how big your trunk is, or maybe I didn,t read hard enough but in Torres Calc I got, h 14", w 35", d 18" for the box, 3/4" 1.5 baffle, then for the port I got h 12.5", w 3.25", l 30", 40.63 sq inchs of port, 3 common port wall, almost 2.5 cubes after displacement (2.44), 35htz.

Just put like 2 layers of sound deadener on the backside of the piece of mdf, thats what I did, no issues in almost 4 years.

My dad ended up getting all the DWIs after the fact I put it in his name, then they made some lame guideline that we CANNOT get the plates off unless he gets his liscence back which he physically cant due to cancer, nor will they allow us to transfer the title...

Yea, in Minnesota, you get special "pull me over now" plates.

Yea, I'm not even the one with the DWI's my dad has like 15. Only reason the plates got stuck on the car is cuz when I bought it I put it in his name for cheaper insurance, then came the onslaught of DWI's against my vehicle.

I'm 21 and still living at home shrug. Only reason I havn't moved out is cuz I have a assload of college debt. 4 yrs of high end cabinetry school isn't cheap =/ Been working 40 hrs a week since I was 16 too. Also, I kinda went cash crazy and bought myself a small shops worth of tools.

I've had DWI plates on my car for 6 years now cuz its in my dads name and he pyhsically CANNOT get his lisence back (cancer) and I CAN'T transfer the title unless he gets it back. Damn pigs been pulling me over literally everyday for 6 yrs now, yea, I totally look like im 70 yrs old, I'm 21....

So would the Zinc plated stainless steel ones work tho?

When using bolts instead of terminals, stainless steel thread would probably be best, but since I cannot find any at my local Home Depot or Lowes, would the stainless steel zinc coated ones suffice just the same?

I have a explorer sport with a zx1000.1 and a L7 15", shit wangs tho. The backseats fold down into one giant 41" by 5 ft flat deck, kinda nice.

Would there be anything special I need to do to these bolts, like insulate them or anything incase they might flash. Never done a bolt set up b4 but I figured with a beast like the BTL 18" itd be safer to use bolts

Instead of using the normal terminals any prefab box would have, not positive if you need to insulate them or not but how would one go about using bolts instead? I'm about to build a box for a Fi BTL 18" and I figured bolts would be better.
