i meant people think u cant listen to anything but rap on anything bigger than a twelve, i dont like rap rb at all doesnt mean i cant have sublime tool floyd or nirvana playing with 18s

not funny but kinda. i really want to know why people think big subs only work for rap who started that? any bass guitar amp has big subs dont people think about that?

if you go to a tool concert for example and they use 18 in subs why do people say you should only have 15s or 18s if you only listen to rap? i dont get it whats the reasoning?

stock alt is enough for the car and a cd player usually, so its not a bad idea or you can just underpower everything, id get an alt before engine stuff speakers dont make you go faster anyway

im not worried about a hundredth or so, just wish i could look at the website, find out and price things out. Oh well

bills told me 18 t0 20 and i read 15 for a lvl 3 15, so i guess its a big secret like the prices

just thought somebody might know the displacment, i know better than ask about prices

i built a sealed box a while ago for 4 jl w3s seperate chambers to the (almost exact) specs 1.138 after a .07 displacment but now i cant bring myself to spend over a grand on 4 new subs, not sure if i trust ebays half priced stuff. anybody know dcs lvl 2 or 3s displacement? im using 2 jl 500/1s and im thinking lvl 2 or 3 might work in my box with a bit of cash left over.......

I was really just wondering if it was needed or not for 3 amps. i think my HU puts out enough for my 3 jl amps ( i know you all hate them) i guess ill just try and see, or just use signal sencing on the mids and highs amp and have that turn on the subs amps.

from the tuturial at the top of this forum that says to put a diode on the relay so it doesnt discharge and fry the HU. sounded important.......

if i cant find a relay with the diode in the right position and if i dont need to do it, well i dont want to then

ive never had more than one amp at a time before, and i was gonna use a relay this time around until i started looking for one and the diode stuff came up. is it just extra work not required for 3 or 4 amps?

only 2 pages inand all i could think was ICP. are they around anymore?
