    Exactly, they arent getting full power. Are you asking how to get full power from your amp? Many people wire their subs at .5 ohm. Therefore, the amp sees about 1 ohm after rise

    Say you wire a dual 2 ohm sub in parallel so its now a single 1 ohm sub. When you plug it into your amp, thereafter something called impedance rise. At some frequencies, the amp recognizes the sub as a 1.3 ohm sub and put out power accordingly.

    Oh, I forgot to mention that ill have about another 400 watts for my mids and highs. I doubt itll make a major difference, but i thought that id just throw it out there

    The A3 is a hatchback so it doesnt have a trunk. The guy meant cargo area. It probably has 19.5 cubes walled.

You could even use your stock alt with this setup. Oh, thats my Uncle's Beamer..he loves that thing! I helped him design it. Ill tell him you said that. Your 318 will come out nice too

    Many people put a big box in the back seat and either make trim panels or fiberglass the box to the car. Therefore, calculating would be the same

    1)You dont get more power out of alt by adding batteries, you get more reserve. 2)I dont think so.
