Im waiting to see if my buddy will sell me his ZZP headers. If he let's them go ( their brand new ) it'll be $500. And much better quality and heat shielding than the sd headers or pacesetters As far as the tranny goes. I'm hoping it lasts. If you saw in my op IRS going in Wednesday for a filter, fluid change and a shift kit. If something looks bad I saw there is a local brand new rebuilt with lots of upgrades and zero miles for 1500 installed If not I'm pretty site this one will be torn up in a matter of months

I contemplated taking a trip to ZZP. But it's just to damn far from me. I'm in Duluth mn. Both intense and ZZP set the pcms to a 6k shift point, but I heard nothing about the stock valves being ok on them considering you are looking at the valves when u put the rockers on I just thought it would be a good match and a perfect time to throw them in. Speed daddy won't fit a Bonneville due to the angle degree of the rear manifold which is different from the grand prixs

I thought you were pulling timing. That's what I got our of it. And as far as I know ,without valve springs and a stock cam you could only go to a 1.80 or 1.84 rocker..?? Anywho. I'm not sure on mods yet since the car has 160k miles and I dunno if I wanna dump alot internally with cams and timing so I might just work on the top end a bit otherwise it's just gonna get way to expensive when you get into cams and heads , which sucks because that's were all the power lies. But as for my mods. Mist are in my original post. I'm gonna try a 3.3 pulley then see where my kr is at. Headers will give me a huge advantage as they will allow me to drop .2-.3 in pulley size alone.

Hmm. I'll have to check. I talked to zoomer at ZZP and he guaranteed no float no kr issues and safer in the heads. I've never worried about timing advance with the addition of valve springs. So I'm 99.9% sure timing is not an issue. At the point where you add a cam you might wanna change your chain. Who told you timing gets goofy under a new set of valves?

well new to me.. Just gonna be kind of a fun project car, that is something different from all the rice we see around here Done so far: Coolant elbow LIM gasket sc gasket valve cover gaskets sc oil change new plugs ( autolite 605 ) Oil change - Mobile 1 - So everything is sealed up again and not leaking ( Lower intake was leaking as well as the coolant elbows, which is very common on these ) Going in next week for: Trans filter/ flush and Intense Racing ( Accumulator ) shift kit New HD Axles And the following week, considering all goes well at the tranny shop heres the Mod list.. Its a newer car, and I thought a salvaged title was issued when the repairs were beyond the price of the car to fix ( basically totaled but repaired ) Like I said Ive never bought one, so Im kind of in the air on this one.. But I do like the looks and the MPG of these 8th gen civics .. Also how do you go about making an offer on something with a salvaged title? I was gonna offer him 9500 cash .. Is that a low ball considering this car ( with a clean title ) on KBB Private party books for $15,000.?

The series 2 3.8s and superchargers ( Ive heard ) are very good, But I do see a new SC or motor coming within about $50,000 miles , BUT as long as the body and interior is in good condition and clean , I wouldnt mind dumping 4k into the motor and S/C.. The gas gauge not working, What would that be ? The gauge itself, wiring, fuse or something deeper? If it seems like to much work Ill look elsewhere, but THIS really has my Attn..
