I like way more the 3500.1 option because , once you wire that thing at 0.5 ohms you would forget about impedance rise affecting so much, BUT, it´s always safer to use amplifier at 1 ohm each one, also, once you get bored about the subs or amps and want to do some more upgrade, it´s easier to sell 2 smaller amplifiers than a single big ass amp, and last but most important, if someday one amp brakes down, at least you have another one to play around nad not been left without bass lol, so yes, i honestly think 2 AQ2200´1 should MURDER in that car, you have no idea the big difference between your AP´s and those AQ´s

Yo Kevin, i wouldn´t buy 2 more and wire them @ 2 ohms each one, after impedance rise those amps aren´t gonna give you WAY MORE power than the one you already have, remember something about impedance rise, if you are wired at 1 ohm and your real impedance it´s at 2 ohms, this means your impedance rise it´s X2 no matter what wiring configuration you have, in other words, so in that same example, if you wire the amplifier to 2 ohms, you are gonna get 4 ohms This means, that having 4 amplifiers at 2 ohms each one should give you a big ass gain, i don´t doubt it would be louder but i don´t think it worth the money!! I would save some more money, sell the AP´s and buy myself a single AQ3500.1 and wire that thing to 0.5 ohms since i know you have a decent electrical and you are peaking on higher frequencies , they have even less rise so the amplifier should be save!!

I really like the port area, but damn, that box ended up been small doesn´t it? maybe i would ditch the second baffle, that way, you can gain a lot of internal space and just use a couple of good old threaded rods to brace that shit out, i´m telling you this because if you are tuning it @ 36 hz then you are looking to play some nice lows wich are a little bit too difficult with only 1.5 cubic feet per sub hommie, i do think the box should work nice but it can work even better if it´s bigger, just my opinion

Ram, what exactly are the parameters you need to take a look at if you are thinking of building a 4th order?? i see everybody doing 4th orders this days on any sub so that's why i'm curious, i;ve designed a few and they have worked AWESOME on every sub, maybe i was lucky, i would love to know this for sure, thanks man...

I have a nice experience with Digital Designs, specially with the 1510 , 2512 and 3518´s since those are the ones that i use and i´ve been able to test them a lot, i have designed a few boxes for 3512, 3515, 9512 and 9515 also but those weren´t my subs, so those bitches didn´t want to try new boxes lol, so yes, i have some experience on DD but not the greatest when we talk about the 3515 lol Said that, i could help you out if you need me to, but i´m sure there are guys with more knowledge about that sub than me, once again, i can help you out if you want me to, but i´m been honest with you, that´s the only box i designed for that car, and he can bass race a 144 with a single DD m2 @ 1 ohm and a single Kinetik Battery, so yeah i´m proud of that work hehe. You can also contact f150 on soundpressure forum, i know that guy has tested the 3515´s A LOT!!!

Yes sir you are right, specially from the 3500 series and above, 1500 and 2500 series it´s very different , but yeah anyways, big port for that sub is the key!!!About the tuning, mmm depends on the kind of music he likes, but yeah, i wouldn´t tune it lower than 35 hz if he´s looking for some nice lows and bandwith...
