  1. go dwright!! haha
  2. Not a problem bro, that´s why we are all here on this forum, to help eachother!!! Jacob Fuller (sundown) knows where you can get 8" aeroports, but they are expensive!! If i were you, i would use 8" PVC tubes and build your own flares with a heatgun and a metallic bowl, i´ll post a vid at the end of this post on how to build them, that´s me with 6" PVC tubes by the way. Another way would be using 8" sonotubes, or if you want a FREE way, well, you can go to a large format printing company, their banners come inside of a 8" strong cardboard tubes, you can use them as ports and flares should be easy to build, just cut the end of the port on strips and tape them together or fiberglass, should be easy!!! This is the vid i told you:
  3. Or maybe you could get all subs on a straight line, you have the space!!! Something like 18" H x 50" W x 28" D with 2 8" aeroports 13" long , that would give you a VERY good box!!
  4. What for? i would get 2 lines of 2 subs each one, should be around 25" deep so you can feet the 4 subs, 28" should be enough...
  5. Thank you, glad we are on the same path Damn, that´s big!!! Well, recommending something very fast because i have to go, i would get 19" H x 48W x 28D with 2 Aeroports about 13" long, that would give you around 10 cubic feet after displacement with a 35 hz tuning, this is using 1" thick MDF...
  6. Because my box is better than you and i have less impedance rise, you don´t know anything!! i hate you, you sold the stetsom hahahaha Naaa homie i dunno, i guess biggest problem for me is the alternator, it´s a 99 Explorer with a 11 years old alternator, it´s funny because only sends around 13.3v with lights,system,A/A and everything off hehe, i´m buying a Mechman this week!!!
  7. common chamber, i would just sell those amps and buy a single one for the subs, much easier to fit on any space, less wires, etc etc, i would get 2 8" aeroports for that box
  8. Lifetime warranty it´s for competitors only, i have a SD8000.1 and that shit is a monster!! Very clean sound, never went to protection (only 2 months old hehe) but i love mine, i raised from 149 dbs to 151 by changing my old DD m4 to the SD, funny thing is that im using only about 40% of it´s potential, and yes, is a power hogger, i drop to 10.6v with 3 kinetik batteries and stock alt for the moment, also, murilo´s costumer service is perfect!!
  9. Where are you from? i can use cms and liters if you need What kind of music you like? what car? what amplifier are you gonna use for that sub?
  10. There´s something called impedance rise wich is a bitch!!! Also, voltage drops, so after you start with 1000 watts you´ll see 500 watts at the most if you are a "noob" as you claim you are, wich i don´t think by the way!!! You have small power and that allows you to build a much bigger box, 1.6 per sub is kind of a burp box with tons of power haha. Like orion said, i would get 10 cubic feet after displacement, subs up/port back with a 35 hz tuning, that should play very nice lows
  11. I dunno because you have small power and small subs, but if you say you can do small hairtricks with that box, then with a custom box with a 31 hz tuning you should move A LOT more air
  12. Well, prepare to download all the 17 zips from decaf, all the songs from hondaxpower ,bigpimpin and thehoe92 hehe, by the way, i love C&S songs, they pound HARD in the swift
  13. Well, audiocontrol mic it´s a piece of shit, audiocontrol sensor it´s very nice, about 1 db off the TL, but yes, Termlab it´s the real thing!! To make you laugh, i´m hitting a 161 dbs on a AC 190 with a bad calibration, it´s around 149 dbs on the TL ehhehe
  14. Should play nice man, also, very cheap system!!
  15. For that big size car you don´t need a 25 hz tuning IMO, 35 hz would be more than enough, i had to tune my 2 18´s box @ 32 hz in my swift because it´s a small little car, yes you´ll be able to move a lot more air, but you´ll be playing C&S songs all day long haha
  16. Derrick, you want me to read you or something? i don´t think you´ll be able to sleep tonight if this guy ignores you!!! haha this is funny, what an ignorant, dude, go cry to your momma and ask her to change your diaper!!
  17. HAHAHAHAHA, dude, have you ever heard something like "facepalm"?? are you really saying that every car it´s the same???? ok, try doing subs front/port up in a hatchback and tell me if it sounds as loud as subs up/port back!! you don´t know what you are talking about!!!
  18. Nowhere the same my friend, my explorer suck ass with subs up/port up while my suzuki swift kick ass that way!! Well, i´ve tried EVERYTHING on the swift, best i found was: - sub up/port up - sub up/port back - sub up/port to side They all sounded pretty much the same to the ear, loudest was sub up/port back but the trunk rattles too much, port to the side it´s great if you have enough room to keep the port about 4 inches from the wall of the car, port up sounds very nice, actually best quality on this little car, but not as loud as the other 2
  19. i can send it to you, give me your email...
  20. We used my buddy´s zx2500.1 @ 1 ohm for burps A LOT of times without any problems, lucky maybe? i dunno
  21. Well, i haven´t use a BTL, but on youtube and forums, i could see they use big ass boxes, specially if you don´t have enough power (wich is your case), said that, you have the space for that box?'
  22. Is not too easy to do a hairtrick, but yes you can do it with that equipment! maybe not a giant one but yes , you can! i would get something like 6 cubic feet and 32 hz tuning, pm fritosaregood, the guy is pounding HARD with a single 18" on a trunk car getting some nice hairtricks...
  23. 4 12´s setup it´s pussy, only noobs use that!!!
