DC Lvl 4 XL 10 or DC Lvl 4 15??
memphisBred replied to memphisbasshead's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Never really associated "slapping" with classic rock, haha. The power you have should be really nice on the level 4 15. Maybe if you have plans on upgrading power go with the XL. -
On those clamp tests I believe many of the voltages were in the low 12's, too. That really speaks to the power of Sundown when some of their amps are putting out 250-500 wrms over the rated while not even near 14.4V. I have a AQ 2200d and love it and a Sundown 125.2 and also love it. You really can't go wrong either.

Techforce has a two variations of "DC Sound Lab" and a DC Audio decal. Great prices and very fast shipping.

Too Much?

Mr. P's are level 4's aren't they? -
Maybe get a bigger H/O alt when the money is right. Batteries should be good on that power, b/c I doubt the Boss amp actually puts out 1k wrms. So say you have 3000 wrms... those batteries should be plenty. The H/O alt may not be able to charge the batts continuously. Also if you have the time check your grounds and other wires, that may have become lose or lost the connection.

2 or 3 Warden 21"'s aren't very common on the build logs and the SMD's....well their SMD's. As for #4 maybe look into some AA Mayhems, DC level 5's, and several others. -
Yup...good magic.

That's funny.

Count me in as dumb. I call the saber a jig saw all the time. I blame prior dumb people for teaching me. -

But can you add slamming bass notes? I'm sure not to many people listen to OJ because of his genius lyrics. Also you forgot "OKAY". -

Is it the song with Gucci at the beginning singing the chorus, "I cook, cook, cook..."? If so Decaf has it in a zip. Slams nicely. Zip 13. -
Rusty or Thor can give you a price and take care of you(PM them). Also try calling them tomorrow, they have great customer service. How many subs are you wanting and are you for sure getting the two Crescendo amps? I ask because some people call them level 4 XL's and you said "4 XL". Not sure if you meant 4 subs or 1 XL. Edit: if you are wanting to do four 10's I would go with the XL's off of the amps you are getting/looking at.

SA-12 vs. Alpine Type R 12"
memphisBred replied to boomin's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
Sundown. Alpine Type R is a good sub for a budget and can get pretty loud. Sundown has great products, great CS, and oh yeah they get kinda loud. My dad has the SA-8 and I love it. I'm sure the SA-12 is badass. -

If you used the o-scope only one time it would be worth the couple hundred spent. The velleman hps10 I believe is on sale for 130$ -

Mines on pg 2 as "Explorer Sport Build". The sub is on route for delivery. -
Look in the video section for Twistedchild420's video. It's a recone of a IA 18" or 21" I believe. If not in the vid section it's def on his youtube page. Good video, step by step, too.

AudioQue 2200d or a used Sundown SAZ-2000d if money is an issue. If not maybe a Sundown SAZ-2500d, Rockford T2500 or 2000. I'm pretty sure the DP can take 2000 wrms+.
