  1. He had street radials too. There's definitely factory freaks and disappointments. Not every car is going to be the same. That's nice to be able to drive an 11 sec car withe headers and radials.
  2. We have three locals with them. Not sure on the years and difference between them. I've seen 12.8, 12.9, and 13.1. I have a time slip against the 13 sec one. He was a young guy at the track for the first time so I wouldn't hold that against the car. By the way I'm not trying to bash the car. I love them. If I wasn't a GM/LSx fan boy and hell bent on the CTS-V, I'd like to own one. My initial statement pertains to all makes and models. I own a cammed TBSS. I remember when I got it and read it ran high 13s stock. The track is similar to the term lab. It can really hurt your feelings if your expectations are high.
  3. The IS-F may run mid 12s in perfect conditions and great air, but they're running high 12s, low 13s more times than not. Anytime you see a listed 1/4 mile time for a car that's on a track with good prep, good temp, good da, and an experienced driver. You see it all the time at the track when guys bring their stock cars expecting to run a time they saw on the Internet only to feel down afterwards. When they don't take all the variables into play. Stock naturally aspirated cars are affected by weather conditions more than the modded or forced induction ones.
  4. lil_walbanger was the white Yukon/storm trooper Zfrerichs...seemed like he had a big build in a Dodge Dakota that I never saw finished.
  5. Mr P Don't remember the screen name but he had Soundstream equipment in a white Yukon with black wheels(storm trooper?) Couple off the top of my head.
  6. Agree. Sold him some speakers this weekend. Fast communication and quick payment. PS your tracking #'s are in the pm.
  7. Drivers side, center, up top, in that order. I think for a demo/music setup you'd be happy with a center port. With 4 15's, I'd shoot for 16.5 -17 after displacements and shrink it down until you get the results you're looking for.
  8. It's just as easy from a phone. Go to PayPal.com and login.
  9. When you get below 12.6 resting voltage it's smart to charge. Charging the battery once a week/couple weeks will provide a longer life for the battery. They are perfectly fine for everyday starting. What size battery can you fit under your hood? XS Power's site has a guide for which batteries fit certain vehicles. Just enter the necessary vehicle info.
  10. Bought a Double Din from him a while back. Great seller. Shipped safely/quickly. Recently sold some wire to him. Paid promptly. Great buyer/seller.
  11. What kind of vehicle do you have? They don't work on all vehicles.
  12. That's the voltage when you go out in the morning? That's pretty terrible. Mine in my vehicle have always rested between 12.9-13.1. Same goes for the D975 in my granddad's camaro. Sounds like a drain somewhere or dead/dying battery.
  13. Does this mean you got the software to work out for you? Hope so man. And sorry for the confusion on my part.
  14. Tyler your quickest and best bet is probably going to be emailing them. Or even calling them. I always got quicker responses by emailing compared to pm'ing on SMD.
  15. You can't learn how without asking questions/researching. Someone who credits SMD for their knowledge like you do, should understand you gotta ask questions sometimes. Granted this "power under 1 ohm" topic is everywhere on the site. Just not specifically for the 7.5k.
  16. He raises the dB level of his songs to the point just before clipping. Sometimes there is clipping in the mids or even a soft clip for a fraction of a second in a song, but for the most part, the songs are completely clean and safe to play, as long as you set the gains accordingly. Edit: and that's just a very basic and simple explanation of what he does and may not be the best way to explain it.
  17. No it means the battery is charged. If the battery or batteries are sitting low enough(I think below 13.0) the orange light will light up, charging the battery, then light up green when the battery is charged.
  18. N2 is great for daily and N3 can be used daily as well. Did I misunderstand or misread that neo dissipates heat/cools down quicker?
  19. I have 10 sq ft of damplifier arriving tomorrow gonna seal the door from the panel tomorrow and see what that does.
