Finished applying mine last night. What a HUUUGEE difference. My lows sound sooo much better now that they're actually getting to me insted of being turned into flex and rattle on the trunk lid. My trunk lid is a huge rock now, and I can hover it about half an inch above the hook and just drop it and it clicks now insted of used to have to "slam" it shut. Amazing stuff and I will be purchasing more!

And yes the far l right on the trunk lid, 3rd picture from bottom was all patched with 3 layers. Just can't see it in the last 2 pictures. The lip of the lid was patched too, can't see that either. But the trunk lid is as symmetrical as I could make it

Finished and carpet back on Wind was blowing hard as hell. Trunk lid nearly fell on me about 5 times. Damplifier on main rattle points First of 3 layers on lid 1 layer down 3 layers finished on lid. Starting to reassemble. Everything back in! Finished at 11:00 p.m Thanks for looking!

Was hesitant on adding SS for fear of it not wanting it do accomplish what I wanted, but man it exceeded what I wanted. I used 40 sq feet of regular Damplifier, 3 layers on lid, top and bottom of rear deck, and rest on back of trunk and sides/bottom. Here's pictures on the install. First time doing this too so no pro yet. Thinking of doing the doors later on too. Then the roof. Start: 4:30 p.m Rear Deck off after about 30 mins on figuring out how it even came off. Everything set off to the side so I can work Cleared access to trunk Bottom portion off and other goodies hiding... Bet this was causing some rattle Factory damplifier? It was on both sides. Was comming off too Just in time. Package of damplifier came! Cleaning up nicely Cleaner First piece applied. What a joke that was haha. No bubbles though just reallllly wrinkled. Nice bro. I got 40 feet comming tomrrow. Doing lid and rear deck bottom and top. Hopefully I'll have enough left to do more but we'll see.

Just put my order in 40 sq ft of Damplifier on it's way! Good thing it's only in Pheonix too. That's just a stone throw away.

Alright. So you would say just get the damp and then deal with getting everything out later? Makes sense.

I noticed with all this, my cvrs are making my dome light dim. My hid's aren't dimming neither is my dash. Should I be concerned? I don't want to hurt my alt or battery. I'm going to pick up one of those voltmeters and a couple batteries for my DMM tomorrow at wallyworld and hopefully get some numbers. And also in that pic, does it look like the alternator would be a p.i.n.a if I wanted to upgrade? This ones I believe 85 amps.

LOL. Well I only plan on doing 1 layer. I gave a demo today (shocked me too) and the rattle comming from the trunk is driving me nuts. Sucks I work the next 2 days until dark, because I want to take my stuff outa my trunk to make sure I can remove the carpet, and see in person how hard this'll be adding this damplifier.

I'll do my best don't worry lol. I really just wish my trunk lid had a carpet cover like newer accords do - I hate the damplifier just "being there" you know what I'm sayin?

What did you use to clean the sheet metal before applying the damplifier? I've heard rubbing alchol, but would plain water be fine?

Alrighty cool. I don't think I need to do the doors, they don't vibrate - yet. But the trunk and rear deck is annoying as hell because with some notes, its ratteling enough for me to hear it over the already loud subs themselves. The damplifier Regular has black foil correct?

Cool, cool. You talkin about 2 layers on what I want to do, or that whole trunk - floor and all? I know for sure I'm going to take up the whole carpeting in there and do the sides and reardeck, and then the lid for sure. Question though - How would I go about laying it on the lid. I know it's kind hard to tell, but at the top of that pic you can kinda see the trunk lid. Just lay it over the whole lid, or in the cutouts. What is best?

Is the blue 08 09 sticker the inspection tag? If so, maybe they were trying to tell you "to go get your vehicles inspection sticker updated". That's a ticket waiting to happen. Especially 7 months over >.>

I have a 97 accord like the one below (not mine). I seriously need to damplify the trunk. It rattles like a madman even during break in. Can't imagine when I go to tune it in a week or so. I was thinking 40 sq foot would be enough, but this pic got me thinking more. Don't know if doing the trunk floor is necessary, but I know "for sure" I need to do the lid, rear deck, and side/back end of car/trunk. Would 40ft be enough would you think? Going with regular damplifier. Thanks

Yea it's 4 gauge. Didn't have 1/0 laying around, and wanted to get a heavier duty for now with my 1k Watt kickers going in. I will upgrade to 1/0 though. Yes there's 1 run of 4awg from the alt. The stock was about 5/6 awg. Same with grounds. And yes I know it's a long run from the alt. I considered running it in the front, but there was a lot of hot pipes and tubs in the way, and I didn't want to run it around the battery.
