I have a 1995 gmc safari ( same as a astro van) and I need to upgrade to a high output alt. The biggest I can find is from iraggi but its only 200 amps has anyone done anything with one of these before?

auidoque hdc3 will take that power no problem. I personally think they sound better than fi btl's and most any other subs. check them out

also for the type of battery I would go with nothing less than xs power 3100's

I would go with at least 1 battery per amp. I would run at least 8 though

I was thinking about getting 2 18 auidoque hdc3's and I was wondering if anyone had used them before? Any input would be helpful

Thanks alot for the comments, ya I'm gunna weld up an amp rack tomorrow so I'm going to shorten and clean up all the wiring. next week I'm doin the big 3 upgrade, a 220 amp alt and a second battery. Then I will be ready to do my wall with 2 18's. O and this is in my 95 astro van

Check out hifi sound connection I think you can get an l7 15, a box, kicker 750.1, and a all the wire needed with the fuse for around 5 bills

I just had that cap laying around so I threw it in next pay check im doing the big 3 upgrade, a second battery, and a 220 amp alt. The reason for the random pieces of dynamat are because I only had 2 sheets and I just wanted to cover as much as possible. The ports are the same size I just used my Iphone to take the picts so quality isnt great. Last I have have terminals just havent installed them yet but I wanted to see how it sounded. What kind of battery should I get for my second battery?

everyone on here talks about doing the big 3 upgrade to their charging system but im not sure what they are talking about. could someone explain?

Hey guys just wanted to post up some picts of my first build in my own car. Nothing to special to you guys but everyone has to start some where! I built and installed everything myself, and im obviously not done cleaning up all the wires. Im using two 12" L7's in 3.25 cube foot ported boxes tuned to 33hrz. Power is coming from a kicker 1500.1 mono amp, with a yellow top under the hood and a 3.5 farad cap. All 1/0 used to wire it up. Tell me what you think.

thats an awesome set up! what do you have powering it? ?
