just out of curiousity...would you really be happy having something in your car that you yourself didnt even choose? i get the whole suggestion thing, but looking online so others can build your car just seems....hollow. i think youll have a lot more respect for your system when you actually spend the time researching, evaluating, reading, testing, and listening to. i think if youre going to spend money and time putting a system into your car it should be because you want it to be, not because other people told you to. you can definitely use the other cars similar to yours as a base for ideas, but wouldnt you be happier with something just a tad more unique?

i thought so too but he was asking if there was a differen in the quality. i couldnt assume he was actually going to compare quality on two completey different amps. i assumed he was comparing quality of apple to apple purchased from bestbuy or a local shop. lol, yes of course you have to order fromt he website and have the subs custom made...thats how the subs are assembled. AA, FI, DC, SA, just some of the awesome products you can find built with quality in mind and not on an assembly line, shoved out the door to dealerships who charge big bucks to the kids who thinks it "gets loud" for the money.

I believe he's set on his choices mates, he only wants to know about electrical. Honestly, nothing is needed as each amp does below 250 watts. I hope he knows he's not getting 1100 watts per amp. Unless his buddy with a degree in electronics is going to make them do 1800 watts. And why 2 1100 watt amps per sub instead of one 2000 watt amp sub per, lol

lets pretend we went back in time when bestbuy was still selling RF, both would be the exact same thing...authorized dealers. of course they charge different prices but the equipment is the exact same thing. im not too sure where the question is coming from, or how you would assume bestbuy would have different equipment assembled from RF. prices always vary from shop to shop but both were technically authorized dealers.

yeah, it is dangerous to let people know what you have in there. but my cars all have security systems. i think its a personal thing, any time i am spending this much money i want to be as safe as possible. i may be stunting like my daddy but to lose everything i spent money and time on would suck monkey balls. i think its just normal for humans to express our own individual sense of right and wrong, and sometimes the companies and organizations we associate with we also want people to recognize. i think sometimes we do it for ourselves more so than the company we rep. but then i dont know if id hav enough room on my cars if i started listing off all the companies and the products i use in my rides, lol

are you trying to wall the 15s? or just seat delete and 3 in the back 3 in the trunk? i would choose different subs (pioneer) and like everyone was saying, better amps. you dont need 1200 cheap amps, 2 awesome amps are better and more efficienct. pic of the engine bay to see the room youre working with? if you have a big enough battery reserve dont really need a dual alt. one big alternator with enough battery juice to supply your voltage. i would do, 8 pioneer championships 12s, http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_20830_Pioneer_Premier_TS-W3002D4.aspx the amps you might do good to look around the for sale section here or caraudiocalssifieds.org, or take a look at stetsom. alternator is really your choice but you better make sure you can supply the electrical before committing to a large current draw. my personal advice. maybe a little smaller and just do 4 subs, give them some air to breathe, mount 2 amps in the trunk with the batteries. going for a show system or a ugly as hell but sure does pound something mean set up?

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA well...one i would like to know where his degree in electronics is from, bestbuy? and i think youre too safe in your assumption the amp even puts out 1000, lol. i think you kind of need to do a bit more research. a lot of the stuff youre using for the build arent what you should be using, and are you set on using the neon for a build? maybe i misread the first post and you mean, you just bought a neon and you want to use it for your build.

i never put decals on any of my vehicles, but thats just me. i dont have Garrett, AGP, WeaponR, or Perrin stickers on my srt, but use all of those products and love them. i do see where youre coming from, but also see why people do. theyre not repping a brand because they have it, theyre repping a brand because THEY LOVE IT. if i didnt like my candy paint, or my clean paint jobs id have decals on the rides. but i dont like anything on my rides, but would rep FI, RF, Crescendo and such in a heartbeat!

How much are you wanting to spend on t4s? Never been a fan of josh...he's a tool. And which shop are you going to? Definitely something I or my boy john at kreative could do

ordered my rims through driveline customs. not too expensive, but not too cheap either but FUCKING spectacular. if youre seriously on a budget though, craigslist auto parts under 24" will give you some good deals

.......how does a damplifier sound at all?!? if youve done as many builds as you say you have, you would know its hard to describe. in the world of custom audio you try it and see for yourself. my personal opinion there is NO COMPARISON. secondskin is superb

youre welcome. but without having an accurate picture of the issue (because your description isnt painting it for me) no one can accurately tell you what our opinions on the issue is. so without pictures...it is REALLY hard to know what exactly the issue is.
