  1. you also got like the perfect one, ha ha, but I will still look, im really excited
  2. thats the issue, Im not gonna beat the hell out of it, but I have no way of knowing if the person before me did, you know, maybe I should look at some other models, I really like the yukon/tahoes, but gas mileage is pretty bad, hmmm, so much to think about
  3. For a dealer, that's a pretty low price. I'd go over that thing with a VERY fine tooth comb before you buy it. Maybe even take it to a shop and have them check it out. Edit- just checked KBB and it shows that vehicle is retailing for $10,500. I would love to get it checked out first, but I dont really know of any mechanics, wonder what they charged, thats not bad as for a price, I imagine if I waved 8,500 infront of them they would take it, but I would still have to take out a loan, and do all this, gotta sell my van first too, I may have to start taking out all the stuff, I gotta go to a salvage yard and get all the panels I modified
  4. what do you guys think of this one? what could I talk him down to Link to Awesome Tahoe my only concern is why is it selling for what it is, am I going to get it and the tranny goes 300 miles later?
  5. fuck you and your black tahoe lol. there was ligit NO black hoes around me. always wanted a murdered out car now i gotta settle with a tn and black combo. ughh i wanna get a paint job so bad but flat black is kinda expensive lol. and op if youve seen any of meades vids (which im sure/hope you have) then you know the crazy room you have to work with damn that is amazing, thats exaclty what I want, black, loaded!!! Lucky Bastard!! Your lucky in cali, you dont have to deal with the snow and salt which destroys cars! but you have weird emissions laws and that
  6. here is my issue, I am sick of paying for gas for my van, 12mpg in the city, thats not real great, guessing a suv would do the same, but I guess thats the trade off for the room, comfort, and safety, idk. I am a bigger guy, so the room would be nice, I will have to look at some tahoes and see, any years that are real great? or any years to stay away from, I am real open right now, I want to do it this summer, gotta take all the shit out of my van, get new panels in there that I destroyed, ha ha, and sell the beast!!
  7. Hey guys, I really want a newer car, I have a 99' dodge grand caravan now, which I don't need for one person, and its a minivan.... nuff said. I have looked at some models and have a few things I want, but need some suggestions... I would like it to be a manual probably (more fun to drive), also needs room for some bigger subs, 15s (have 2 now) and in the future going to 18s (4 of em), also want to be a model that can get a nice big alt in there from dc or mechman and if possible to use my d3400 up front (not 100% necessary). I am just sick of my minivan, got any ideas? if its a automatic thats fine, just name off some models and years, budget wise, hmmm, well I for sure need to stay under 10,000. I would have to pull a loan for around $8,000 (Fixed ) to get something at 10,000, so less is better, I really want something awesome enough to keep for years to come, and gives me room to grow! I want to eventually do all custom doors, sub box, everything thats possible! Will be a big project for me! and should be a lot of fun! Derek
  8. have you tried changing the transmission fluid. These newer cars take very very specific kinds of fluid, ex: dodge take atf+4 usually, if you put anything else in there expect a tranny failure within months, no joke
  9. Nice job, do you do this for a livin? or like a side job?
  10. ha ha, green beer? does that exist? ill fix my words, any group buys coming up in celebration for saint pattys
  11. any sales on the battery chargers for St. Patrick's day ? sorry for resurrecting a 3 month old thread
  12. if it were me, I would take it out and sell it, since you have a rear battery, that is gonna be much better then a cap, more power for longer, and you have a good charger so those batteries are gonna be floating each night, the cap is just gonna be a drag on your system, what is your alternator size? I would take the cap out no matter what IMHO, by selling it you can recoup some of that money you spent
  13. Alright, a bit more then I can afford, well I can but im not sure if I want to dump that much money into a charger. One question on them is, I want to mount this thing in my car and permanently hook it up to my setup, so all I have to do each night is plug it in and it will float them. is there mounts on the charger? can you change out the connectors on the ends to be terminals instead of the alligator clips (without cutting anything)? whats the warranty length? do you have any discounts going on ? The best way to extend the life of the investment you have made into your electrical system. Nath, what is shipped cost of the 12v charger to 55902, I think I may just have to get one, these batteries are resting at 12.2v which is not good, and they need to be topped off badly, I am taking a trip to michigan here, but I will have my laptop with me I would hate to ruin these batteries pm me if you want
  14. when I did mine, different model, I ran the leads it tests with all the way back to the amp and to my rear battery so that it will show what the amp is getting for power, I also wire it into the switched output on my deck so that it will come on with the deck had to use a 12-5v step down little thing as it takes 5v to power it
  15. Price is all determined by how much it costs to manufacture it and how much he wants to make on it. Im hoping its around 49.99 + shipping, as that seems reasonable, but if it costs $43 to make, then its not gonna cost that, thats why there really is no idea. Most electronic items now days are really cheap to build for the most part, but it all depends on what tech is being used. I imagine that this is using off the shelf parts so it shouldn't cost a ton to manufacture, but I have no clue, yea it takes time to make, and that has to factor in a bit also. If anything we will see when steve says, I think if its over $80 that it may be pushing it, yea its a valuable tool, but for 2x-3x times that you can have a used or new o-scope that does a lot more, don't get me wrong, I just want one of these things, hoping it hits the sweet spot pricewis, one big thing too is, is the final product manufactured in the USA or china, I would prefer to pay a bit more and pay some Americans to make it

Well there are mounting points on these. A very great charger. Shoot me a message and I will see what I can do for you. pming you now
