Might pull the trigger on a denali xl (6.0L).....do you think it's worth going through the hassle of taking it to a repair shop and pay for them to put it up on a lift for inspection? Seller has no problem with me doing this so no red flags at this point......

A little spent now can save tons down the road. If you can't inspect it yourself I would shop around and get an inspection at the middle point of prices.

If you don't know much about working on cars it for sure is a good idea.
Most shops charge 1 hour of labor for a full inspection.
It can let you know of potentially expensive issues that might be hiding.

It's $96 for an hour on the lift....guessing it takes about an hour for them to do a thorough inspection. And then $34-36 for just a visual inspection.
