I'm doing a build for my neighbor so for now my build is on hold. He recently bought a 67 bug in pretty good condition. After he got all the rust taken care of and had new floor boards put in I went to work. I lost the pics of the rear down but it is covered from roof to floor with FatMat deadener doubled up on the rear fire wall. Equipment: Sony deck (soon to be replaced) Massive Audio VX 6.5 components (up front) Massive Audio VX 6x9 in the rear (soon to be replaced by another VX 6.5 comp set. MB Quart 125.4 (mids) MB Quart 1500.1 (subs) ordered 2- 10" RE Audio SE dual 2 subs in a 1.75 sealed box.

Anybody have one in the O? Help me tune my setup.

Thanks bro, cant wait to hear it, but I'm not gonna rush the build. The terminals will be an issue. Not sure which way to face the box yet. Thinking of front and sealing off the trunk. Or back for now. Either way can't wait in their crappy sealed box they were flexin my wipers.

Yeah it's 37w x 15h x 22d

The box is about 5.6 cu before displacement, the port is about 24" long. I forget. 13.5 tall and 5" wide to the two 2.5" for each sub it puts the tuning around 32-34hz . This is off memory I don't have the numbers with me right now.

On the sides if the box you can wedge in small pieces of mdf for a tight fit without making holes in your car.

American bass vfl 8" cheap and loud.

How about a 8 and 6 in the door and a super tweet for the a pillar. Run them as a big three way comp. I had a setup like this in my integra. 8" played 70-500, 6" 500-3500,tweets 3000 and up. Sounded great.

Ok don't laugh but American Bass has the vfl 8" and for 150 rms they get crazy loud and clear. I did 4 in my boys rear deck of his accord and they can be heard two blocks away. And they are cheap in cost.

The baffles will be doubled. Only the sides may need to be braced. May go with 3/4 dowel or glass the walls.

Subs facing forward into the car sealed of from the trunk and port up through the rear deck. Steve has a vid of a red charger with his setup like that and he was impressed.

Yeah I have it put together just haven't put it in yet. Still have to screw down the baffles and port.

2- 12" level 3 recone kits to 34769.

So I was messing with the box when I was going to measure the subs to get the cut out size. I noticed one has two good sized cracks in the dust cap and the other has a very small one. So it looks like the recone has to happen sooner then I thought.

Gotta find a router mine died. I want a smooth rounded edge.
