well i already had the amp thats why so i was wondering if the sa-12 could take 1000w because it was on sale and fit the budget i was in, and the main reason i heard all the good reviews on it and how it had underrated rms power get it give it a try. if it blows get a recone and try again with the problems fixed first.

Well I wasn't sure if he was using slot or circle. And I doubt actual aeros will be used. aero, pvc pipe, abs pipe.. same difference with out the flare. as long as he has the right I.D. dimensions and displacement correct.

i thought if youre using aero ports its more like 9-13 per cube

im guessing youre wiring it to 2ohms. and i doubt that amp will put out the 1k its rated at. i would wire it to 1ohm with that amp if you havent gotten the sub yet and build a box at around 1.5-1.75 cubes. sa's can take the heat like no other
