Yup, I had the same problem. I had cheap RCA's. (Plain tiny black wire ones.) You can usually cross over your power wire if you need to, just not run down beside it.

I press the power button, and the 3 lights on the keyboard flash. if I hold in the power button, they keep flashing like a strobe light. That's ALL that happens. The fans don't spin or anything. I took the side off, and there's a green LED that flashes as long as the power cord is plugged in. If I remove the power, it slowly stops blinking then stops.. The light beside the power button doesn't do anything either. I'm guessing the motherboard is fried from a bad capacitor? idk

More around 110db . It's just going to use your computers microphone. It can give you a VERY rough estimate. See if a shop can meter you for free

Eh, you can do it with Audacity, but that's time consuming. Get FL Studio 9 or something. re Find the tempo of the song (You can use the tapper in the tempo meter), then just add some bass notes where ever you want. FL comes preloaded with plenty of good bass vsts.

Well I don't get IT.. I just tried replacing my RCA's.. and it was working... Then I cut the car off, put the new RCA's under the carpet, and it was happening again. I pulled the RCA's out from under the carpet, and the hum was still there... It only does it when the cars ON, and the RCA's are plugging into the amp. EDIT: Wait I think I need to ground my bitch ass RCA's how the hell EDIT2: ima go try this bs out EDIT3: k that bs didn't do anything so i started slapping everything and I knocked out the RCA's going from amp 1 to amp 2, and the hum stopped.. so i replaced those rca's with a cheap pair and it worked so wtf ever

I am using a preferably cheap HU in this install, and forums say that is regularly pops when changing volumes. (0-1), (1-2), and so on. My ground for the amps are in the same spot, bolted TIGHT to the chassis of the vehicle. The paint was sanded from the bolt, screw, and terminals.

Ah! Genious UnderLoK. I removed the RCA's from the amps, and there was no pop coming on, no hum, no pop going off. So now what..? EDIT: Possibly the RCA's came loose from the HU?

Everything works fine when the car is on battery, but when I go to crank my car my subs pop(?) then just have a real low hum to them, until I cut the car back to battery. If I cut the whole car off, they POP right when the amps cut off. I don't really know where to begin on how to fix this.. And I read somewhere that my RCA's should be ran on the opposite side of my power wires? EDIT: (Some more info) I had a battery charger hooked up to my battery, and that caused it to hum when the car was off, but the electrical was on.
