  1. yup and your going to be using 1 common port wall cause your width doesn't extend all the way to the walls on the sides.
  2. is the enclosure going to be subs up, port back????
  3. number of common port walls makes a difference too, other than that it looks ok could of gone a little bigger on the port area if you wanted to but i guess that will cut it.
  4. 10.4 cubes for 2 15's? seems a little big dont you think? and yea ^^^ port area is on the small side.
  5. use convert x to dvd or make sure their mpeg or mpeg 2 when burning on a cd
  6. well their prob better than me as well so I'll see how it goes, thx for helping out guys much appreciated.
  7. that's prob dependent on the guy doing the cuts i assume??? if all else fails screw it ill save up for a table saw
  8. ^^^ lol true bro, heard that a few times myself i just laugh in my head.
  9. allright man thx i guess ill be hitting up home depot in a few weeks.
  10. Was it Home Depot or Lowes that can cut your wood to your desired dimensions? or was it both? any help's greatly appreciated.
  11. well I've read people throw 1k rms to sa-12's so I'm going to assume that yes they can lol thx man

  13. ahh i had forgotten about all thread rods it'll probably take even less space than the dowels. but i guess ill stick to the dowels since i wouldn't know how to place the all thread rods but anyways thx for the great info man, as well as to the other users thx.
  14. alright so eighty grit it is, and cool i don't have to worry about bracing top to bottom, what about front to back(depth)? and when you said it was a good idea to brace port, did you mean through the port or from enclosure wall to port?? lol i confused myself on that one. oh and im set on calculating the displacement. thx bro really appreciate your help.
  15. alright sir guess i wont input that displacement into torre's calculator. also sorry to bring it back up but i have more questions , 1. when sanding whether it'd be edges or cutout holes what grit should i use??? 2. when applying dowel bracing do you screw it down lol or how do you do it for it to stay in place??? caulk, wood glue?? and if im doing an enclosure with a port in the middle when doing the dowel bracing would i also use a dowel from enclosure wall to port wall??? that wouldn't put pressure on the port wall would it??? idk just a thought probably doesn't... 3. displacement of a 1 inch dowel would be (ex. I'm using a 1 inch dowel 3.14x.5x.5xL right??? or am i completely off?)
  16. oh ok i get it, well that about sums all my questions up thx bro.
  17. oh i see thx for the good info bro, one more little thing how would i calculate the displacement of the 45 degree corners?? well since you leave a gap behind it.
  18. alright guys so I've got four questions here, 1. how big do 45 degree corners have to be, like does the height/width matter?, I've seen some that just do little wedges in the corners to others that place a piece of mdf like this http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb107/s13driftfiend/014.jpg top left corner big piece of mdf, other two look like wedges. 2. how do you reinforce your box with resin and glass mat?, does the resin go first, glass mat second then another cover of resin??? and what do you apply the resin with? 3. where would one buy 29oz glass mat? I've seen topics regarding that, they post links to the sites but once on the site i get lost and don't know what to look for. 4. what can i use to round off corners/edges? sorry if the questions have already been asked but i couldn't find much help searching through the posts. well any info will be greatly appreciated.
