If you have a big house got buy a 18"backet peice of pip pipe and make an 18"basket 9 foot long tline :cheers: But on your topic of ib set ups, maybe but when I free air-ed it it was not loud off 500the watts tho, I have trouble beleiving that the ib would perform much different from the free air.... obviously a little, but a box would be so much better imo I have had my dc lvl 5 18 in my house on 500the watts ish just for shits and giggles, I found it had to generate enought power in home setups for cheap... so I took a 1500dmaybe I had laying around and a battery with a nice charger and got a pretty good 12v system.... I had a dc 8 laying around so I've been experimenting with t line boxes I would try it man with the lower power just build a big box....I really thing you would benefit more from a box.... but if you got some power.... What will you be powering it with?

Does that basket go down a little on each side covering the motor ? I can't tell from that pic, and excuse my terminology.... but on my magnet it seems like it has 3slabs and you can see a tiny line inbetween themm, the tc looks like it has a boot, but it could just be the picture Thanks for the help too

I bought this sub from a guy on caco a long time ago, he said it was an old school rd magnet and sundown cone what is this sub? a dc lvl 5 coil recone fits it perfect, i clobbered it with a sd 8k a few times so now its a dc recone................ well its been about 3 months of daily abuse it holds up pretty good i want to know what year this sub is from? if anyone has one that happens to see this, what they are worth? want to sell me another so i have a pair? i will take just the motor...... rms all the goods for them originally thanks for the help and heres the sub ill upload pictures as soon is i figure this crap out i always forget lastly can anyone explain this? recone time? or just wire it to one coil? and leave the other side empty and have some more fun with the sd 8k..... or both
