Hi ive got 4 dc 5k and a 300 amp excessive amp alt, i wanna run 16 volts, how many d1600 do i need, i read earlier that 1 d1600 will do 3000 watt daily so if i run 3 per amp would that cover me o.k, it will be used in comps but mainly for daily driving? cheers. p.s do you have a distributor is australia?

sorry to re hash this, but to save me starting a new topic providing my charging system is up to it the 5.0k will run .5 ohm load with no worries on a daily basis? ive got two dc xl 18's that are dual 2 ohm and wanted to use the 5.0k but before i buy just wanted to check this issue... cheers i was thinking two of these per amp with a 300 amp alt would that be sufficient? or is a battery aimed at car audio more suitable eg xs power, kinetic etc http://aussiebatteriessolar.com.au/batteries/170ah-8v-deep-cycle-golf-cart-battery/

Hi been checking in from time to time i had another build thread ages ago, that car has long scince gone. I have nearly finished this build so i thought id put it up to see what you guys thought of it (good and bad).. the car is a 1974 holden panelvan with a 253cu in V8, it was yellow but i have scince painted it satin black (gmh black). The system is : eclipse 5030 deck 4 pairs fusion powerplant 6.5 splits 2 pairs fusion powerplant 6x9's 2 fusion powerplant four channel amps 12 fusion powerplant 15" subs 6 fusion powerplant monoblock amps 3 200ah batteries in the rear 2 100 amp alts far from the biggest and best but it has been a great learning curve so far! anyway some build pics!

just thought id put some pics of my old holden wagon on here car has now been stripped and sold and replaced with a hq pano to allow for a bigger install im not the best woodworker so its a bit rough.. still learning.. deck and eq just a few shots of the sub box and amp rack had three red tops on std alt the amp rack few shots of the pods these never got finished only built the passenger side before i sold it thanks heaps for lookin
