  2. when i get my other 2 back from dom this week i should be golden when i had 3 before never dropped belo 13, plus im adding 4 more 0g grounds front to back that should help. a 155 would be great if not i have a few tricks left

  4. just got back from dbdrag in sacramento, it was raining the whole time but still had a dozen or so guys turn out. i took a first in dbdrag st max no wall with a 154.1 my numbers were down .3 dbs probably cause of voltage and weeather (i only have 1 220 amp alternator right now and drop is bad) i i won the 39.9 bassrace and there were like 5 competitors. not bad for my first time. i was repping my new dc gear(new hat. and window vinyls)
  5. 4 channels are good and meant for different sized speakers that need different crossover points imo. but i like 2 chan cause you get more power to the speker and they get louder. id go with the sundown if i were you. i just bought another zapco 750.2 for my highs for $180 and i dont even need it just couldnt pass it up.
  6. lol htf can you compare 15w to 100w per speaker the sundown should do great i have a zapco 750.2 running 6 61/2s and 6 tweeters and it screams

  8. sweet! only thing i notice are two minor improvements that you mite try to get that 150. 1st looks like your box is to close to the hatch and restricting the ports. second i would roundover edge of ports. you probably cant move box, but try the roundover thing. thats just my advice have you put it on a tl? what does it peak at?

  13. ok all you chemists out there.has any one ever used metal and electricity to boil water? well i have when i was away on vacation. and the process speads up corosion time of the metal dramaticly. well my factory freeze plugs where corroded so bad on the inside they started forming pinholes and just rotted through. the werent rusty looking, the metal just looked eaten away.( i had them change them all) now i know there are many possibilitys such as age, (11yrs old) miles on motor 170k, the fact that the previous owner drove it with a bad radiator for months, every part of the cooling system has been changed from water pump ,radiator,to heater core,etc. my motor doesnt run hot ay all. what im saying is you dont think there is any chance that having the electrical system i have sped upn the process of corosion? thats all im asking
  14. i will find out, i know he took out the shitty ass dexcool the factory uses and put green anti freeze in there and i know you cant mix the 2 or it will gum up. he said he flushed it before he did it
  15. lol like that soap box, im just saying tho. on the real it could be a coincidence, but how many of you are ruuning 780amps worth of alternator and 10 runs of 0g to 4 batterys like i am? so could it be a possibility? who knows im droppin that bitch off now and telling him to change out all my factory ones with new ones. arent factory ones brass?

Im putting my hoe in the shop for the 3rd time in 3 months, reason? leaking freeze plugs. my mechanic says it could be caused by all my electrical upgrades ive done. ive paid over a grand to him to fix it 3 times. has anyone had this problem? i can see how pulling up too 700 amps through my engine block could be a problem(electrical circuit goes from pos of alternator post to batterys to neg of battery to frame to back of alternator casing which is mounted to engine block).correct me if im wrong.
  17. x2 just cause it says 2x300 doesnt mean it does it. stay with known proven product. if you dont see anyone using it then its safe to say its garbage. plus you pay for what you get
  18. some great numbers thor. your still using the ab 1100 right? what are you clamping out of it? im wanting to run one myself
