  1. DELETED Go to http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/89258-new-box-design-for-the-2-sa-15s/
  2. If you wanted to spend a little more you could wrap it in fleece. Apply resin, sand it. put 1 layer of fiberglass on it then sand it, put some body filler to smoothen it then sand, primer then paint. It will give the box a little extra strength and a nice glossy paint look.
  3. I was talking to my friend today and he showed me this LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZKZkC8u3_c&NR=1 EDIT: Not intended to offend anyone.
  4. Order 2 Sundown audio SA-15's while their still on pre-order. I already ordered 2
  5. It will be a little louder, i need some trunk room in my car far a while so i just took my 15" and put in the back seat and it sounded better and louder
  6. id say after 15 volts on your car you run the risk of frying your cars stock electrical components, you would have to do a step-down wiring system on everything except your audio http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/75284-18-volt-daily-driving-diagram/page__p__1186489__hl__18%20volt__fromsearch__1entry1186489 ^^^ check this diagram out for wiring in step-downs for a high volt system.
  7. For the 4 8's i was thinking of doing an diamond setup where their facing eachother / \ \ /
  8. Yeah thats one of the reasons i wanted the 8's but each 15 is 600w RMS and both would have 1200w each so i'm good on the power. I already have a 15" sub that is crazy alone in my car so im interested on how 2 higher powered 15's would sound.
  9. What would be better 4 SA-8's or 2 SA-15's. If i get the 8's then ill have a lot of room to work with in my small car to build a amazing box, or if i get the 15's I wont have much room at all to work but its still do able, just very hard with the space i have. I wanna buy the 15's soon if thats what i choose because their still on pre order and i can get them for a lot better price now than later.
  10. Ok cool im just gonna do a little more looking around because i dont need it quite yet and if i dont find anything better for the money then ill go with that. Thanks
  11. I was thinking about them but then i was also thinking about getting a little more $'s together and getting pure copper wire
  12. What would be a good brand of 1/0 wire for around eighty dollars for 50'? EDIT: Change $60 to eighty dollars
  13. yeah those with the heatsinks are transistors, they amplify signals so that a pretty big part in an amplifier lol so if they blow then you will need to replace them, if your board is burnt in more places then id say ur amp is screwed and you should just get a new one
  14. Custom build is the best way. Ive been designing custom comps for years, if you want i could give you a line of products that will give you amazing gaming proformance for a great price
