  1. 24x 16v and 2x 12v are for the van. Also got batteries for my other cars too and for a couple local Team Sundown guys =)
  2. Anyone that wants international quote must e-mail us.
  3. 100.4 will be full-range Class-D -- the first design I did was over the top... ended up being about 2kw bridged. Which is cool but it would cost almost as much as a 2500D (naturally since it is nearly as powerful)... so we are scaling it back a bit before showing the details. I may save that over the top design for later
  4. We can't really predict that -- as dealers primarily come to us rather than vice-versa. We did have a recent inquiry, though.
  5. If you click on a country it comes up -- we have Italy, Netherlands, Norway, and Slovakia.
  6. Haha. Brandon has been working on getting decent enough photos to put up -- then info will follow.
  7. Welcome to Sundown Went live yesterday. The biggest upgrade is behind the scenes... the new software actually allows us to do more modifications so we don't need to bug our web guy (aka: taking forever for us to get around to it). I have already started filling in lots of missing information, pictures, and typing descriptions. Comments / big reports are welcome at this time. Some information is not there YET -- mounting data, specs, etc... that stuff is coming soon. We are absolutely slammed with woofer building so that takes a bit of a back seat. I may also get even more technical in the descriptions as well -- I am sure everyone enjoys that. Also the dealer locator is MUCH better -- go check that out for sure. The "News" page links directly to Facebook so it will no longer be stale -- it will get an update with Facebook every time.
  8. We can get a SH quote to you if you like.
  9. Unlikely any time soon... I don't see us breaking into the 12" or bigger PA market any time in the near future.
  10. Both will be in the SAE line of amps.
  11. EL OH EL you sure you didnt have a ib3? And its been said before, lack of motor strength from a 2.5" coil on a 18" cone isnt practical. Plus the sa line is probably the most popular line sundown has for dealer sales (guess). And most people who go to dealers arent looking for 18s. I have had a huge "crush" on sundown since fox_racin4 has been getting his stuff shipped to me lol. Cant wait for the new lines and new things happening this year The SA line is the most popular, but I am betting the E line will take over. If the 18s were produced, they would sell, Period. Online sales is the majority of Sundown sales anyways. An 18" sub in a vehicle isn't really practical in the first damn place. I would not run an SA18 in my car, but I still want to see it made... damn obsidian My comment holds true on the Fi. An SA has a bigger motor than the ssd... Huge Pole vent... lol... The cooling is so shitty that one of my buddies younger brothers burnt a 3" flatwound coil with nothing more than a short run of unfused 8 guage and a 500 watt rms amp in a pickup truck. He didn't burn it all the way though... he didn't have a chance... he suffered from that famous las vegas tinsel design after a few months. Switched to a measly SA and it is louder and not burnt at all. Sub is like new. Actually... online sales are no longer our primary source of sales; we did start online and I still make every effort to support our "roots" by staying on top of the forums. But dealer sales have catapaulted ahead in the last year and a half It was a battle that literally took YEARS but we are making serious inroads into dealers -- hence the E series debut in full force of all sizes (fastest pick-up in sales of any line we've ever introduced). In the dealer market we really have no call for an SA-18 design -- we WILL do an X-18 which will be priced in the 300s from a dealer and be a SERIOUS woofer... I am talking 10" spider, 3" coil, etc. I am tooling a 10" spider adapter for the 18" 6-spoke that will be used on the X, Z, and NS lines. The rest of the X line will use our newly tooled frames -- as will the Z and NS lines when the frames are done.
  12. The 2nd run pre-order has started... the official thread will be up next week but we've already sold about 1/3rd of then run before even making the thread... so they'll go fast. USA pre-sale is $1500 for end customers; e-mail me for ordering -- dealers / Team members can email me as well. For those than can't make the 2nd run there shouldn't be as big of a gap from 2nd to 3rd run as there is from 1st to 2nd. ETA is May-June on them... as always with pre-orders it is subject to unforeseen delays.
  13. Email me with pre-order questions : [email protected] About 1/3rd of the run is already sold... so I imagine once I actually make the official pre-sale thread they'll go fast. We shouldn't have such a large gap on the 3rd run, though... we wanted the 1st run to get some good field testing before making a ton more -- and so far they are even better than we had expected.
  14. Yep... ~1900 MAP and 1500 pre-order (coming up shortly)
  15. Check to see if any wires are loose or if the fuses are loose.
  16. There will be no SA-18 -- the next line up, the X line, will have an 18
  17. So I am tinkering with the SA-10/12/15 design again... there are some things that I just have to try out. This could result in an actual v.2 revision at some point but I won't say it will be in 2012 as the current models are already extremely popular / awesome woofers and I am reluctant to mess with them much -- and it would have to be REALLY good to make the change. BUT I am *always* on the lookout for a way to improve even our best stuff -- that is just how I like to do it
  18. No I don't think we ever posted them anywhere or saved them really. IIRC it was about 10-12 Hz higher, though.
  19. No you cannot do use the BR connectors to daisy chain the amps -- you must split the signal.
  20. Nah we won't do much deadening... we are welding steel to all the panels
  21. Big thanks to SHOK for our wiring ! Great look product here ! Brandon and I have been talking about the construction on and off waiting for some free time to get started. Getting the wire in is a good first step
