I'm going to make a sticky once I'm all done I was posting as I went today and editing the first post over on ***.

I tested smallest to largest so that just means the bigger ones would do even more power than I posted w/ a full charge

I gave the alt some time to charge them up between amps and between power and output voltage testing -- it would take me a few days to fully charge them on the charger between each amp Just a rough guide so I'm not that worried about every last watt humanly possible They are un-regulated - more voltage = more power

These are not necessarily definitive tests on the amps. All applications are different and I could have probably squeezed more out of an amp here or there... but for the sake of this test I just set the gain knobs to physically 1/2 way up. Just a rough guide to show what the amps can do! I may go back one day and do an SPL comparison as well -- as we have seen up to 1 dB increase from the 3000D to the 3500D even though the power test doesn't seem to indicate as much. With the SPL portion I would sit down and tweak knobs until I got maximum SPL per amp.

Most folks are using 1.5 cubes ported - that is how much I have per sub.

Indeed - we quit making them as people are demanding higher power handling. So we are developing the X8 which will be rated for 400 watts RMS.

We put in two SAZ-3500Ds to replace the AB 1000.1 -- the 3500s WILL run wired down to the lower load : 1.7 dB gain
