  1. Put on of each speaker on the frony two channel bridge the back two on the sub. like this Channel 1 1pioneer and 1 kenwood Channel 2 1pioneer and 1 kenwood Channel 3 Positive on sub Channel 4 Negative on sub as good as you are gonna get with what ya got. put that sub in a really decent box and it shouldnt sound too bad
  2. after bracing and the space the sub take up, you are looking from 4.5-5.0 cubes. depends what kind of bracing you use, i personally like wooden dowel rods.
  3. put this in the re calculator W 40'' D 19'' H 17'' Port width 4'' port piece 2 length 4'' came to 32hz at 5.1 cubes before displacement and bracing
  4. mine is in .8 tuned to 42 hz (temp box) and it is awesome. has great punch, but can get down to 35 hz if needed. Great SQ, people often think i have two tens
  5. Gimme some feedback, i'm making some more songs and want to hear peoples opinion. too low of a peak? not low enough?
  6. LOL, sorry about it being so big. i dont have a MP3 converter to export from audacity. I love playing some really random songs that are screwed, people really tend to stare
  7. I've done several things along these lines, but this one turned out very well so i figured i would share. Feel free to comment, good or bad, just beware this does peak pretty low AND i must give credit, got the idea from Neil Barber. Cheers MICHAEL JACKSON - DIRTY DIANA_1_ SCREWED LOWLOW.wav - 60.65MB
  8. looks like it needs a lot more power, you are barely even gonna break it in over 3 month period with that kind of power. on a side note, 160 for a 1200 watt amp seems good to me
  9. i read through it all before 1. 5 months is too long 2. you have too much to lose over something so small as this, so why would you sell him something bad? 3. you've been around quite a long time That being said, AND with you being the forum asshole, i'd buy from you if you had a SAX 100.4
  10. I had some rattling issues, i ended up sealing the inside of the box with silicone and double baffled the front. i then used some 3M putty sealant between the subs and the box. i gained 2.4-2.6 decibels from that alone. but if yours is doing the same noise outside of the box, then it sounds like damage to the sub or bottoming out.
  11. so are these the ones i'm seeing pop up in the for sale sections?
  12. you can do 2.666 or .666 Its gonna be tough to find something to do around 2000-3000 rms at 2.666, so i'd shoot for finding a sundown 2000 and run it at .666

  17. x2 speaker wire can barely be hurt by power wire (unless you are talking about drawing 1300+ amps of current). if possible, keep em seperate, if not then it should be just fine
