well the problem is i dont have a job currently, so i'm selling the two 15's i have now for something better. the 15's are loud but its urking me that i know they can do more in a bigger box. for either sub i can reuse the wood from my current box to build a new one
1 12" or 1 18", i can do a maximum of 6-7 cubic foot and both of the subs i can get are in my price range
i'm leaning towards the 12 because it is a beefy 12 that weighs 72 lbs from a well known company and it would allow me to build a proper box for it
but then again the 18 would have more cone area and could also take some serious power. it weighs about 90 lbs
my main concern on the 18 is the box size

EDIT: just listened to it in my jeep and its not what i hoped, all of the bass must be about 50hz. time to figure out how to throw some 30 and such in
