  1. i was just thinking about this the other day, how old is that box now like 5ish years?
  2. allright guys thanks for all of the help, i'll be sure to take a few pics and make a video of the finished product
  3. these are the new specs i came up with
  4. allright the sub is the d2 model and he has the mb quart onyx 1500.1, i dont know what it actually outputs but it says 1500 watts @ 1 ohm, so should i shrink down to about 4.5 to 5 cubic feet?
  5. yeah i totally forgot about the whole wattage thing
  6. that i'm unsure about, i dont know if he is still using a kenwood 500.1 or a mb quart onyx 1500.1 amp
  7. they list from 3 to 6 cubic feet. and yeah that's what the efficiency means
  8. i dont really know why he wants to keep the back seat, i think its something to do with the fact that his amps are underneath it or something. @ichris usually the larger box has something to do with making the sub more efficient if i recall right, but i was going by audioque's box specs
  9. my buddy wanted a box for his aq hdc3 15 that could fit on the back seat of his 2002 extended cab sierra and this is what i came up with. please let me know if you guys see any issues
  10. Out of that whole list of supporters, TimeWarner is the only one that this bill will effect in terms of copyright infringments, no other of those companies have any virtual software of that matter. sony could be affected, because i think that would include sony pictures and whatever sony's music department is
  11. i never actually use Wikipedia as the source, i'll go down to the reference links and check them out to see whats reliable and what not, i'm actually surprised that Facebook didn't do anything
  12. high school, they wont let you use wikipedia but i usually go to the page then look at the references and get my info from those links
  13. Wikipedia has blacked out in protest of the internet censorship bills, and of course it had to happen right when i was trying to find links and stuff for school work i wonder what other sites will be blacking out
  14. they do it here because they never sell alot of the audio stuff they pawn, that fultron i bought had been sitting there since 2004 with a price of $250. i guess they really wanted it sold because i offered a $100 and they took it
  15. bought my old school fultron memphis belle for 100 bucks, other than that everything else they got sucks
  16. this is the newest box i came up with, i think it should work. just gonna be a tight fit for the subs
  17. i' will let you know tomorrow if i cant find the exact one i may have a din sleeve that will fit
  18. i have one in my shed but its a spare radio, i know i have another bracket laying around somewhere, if i find it and you cover the shipping its yours
  19. check your plastics on your car, my back hatch would do that and i thought it was the box or dustcap doing it
  20. its not super complicated, you just have to make sure to tape off the motor gap while you clean all of your mounting surfaces so that nothing goes into the gap, and when you put the cone assembly in make sure you use your shim, some guys put a little weight on the cone to make sure that the joints all adhere tightly but Ive also seen others use small clamps. lastly make sure you solder your leads on really good because you don't want a bad connection or for them to come loose
  21. first and winning tries
  22. my jeep is in the shop which sucks, and i'm waiting on some 17fs monsters, and also welcome back
  23. would you recommend flaring the inside? i'm guessing it would have the same effect as putting 45's in a slot port?
  24. seems simple enough, now i gotta try and mock this up to work
