  1. not a problem let me find the link to what i have so you can see what I'm talking about. i wouldn't recommend getting it because its only 20$ and you get what you pay for http://www.amazon.com/Legacy-Channel-Parametric-Equalizer-Subwoofer/dp/B002KPJLAS/ref=sr_1_5?s=car&ie=UTF8&qid=1320630628&sr=1-5
  2. Hmm I have a hifonics eq, but two potentiometers are broke of so I need to fix them, but I don't think It has an input....but I dont think that your plan would work to well because the EQ gets it's signal from the HU? Correct me if I'm wrong though? lol Yea, I was going to see on my stock Calvalier head unit before I mess up this 90 buck one. It seems that this guy got it to work nicely on his RX-8 stock Head Unit so I assume it won't be terribly difficult on this Clarion. Here's the guys link, RX-8 Aux Input Install not all eq's do. mine had what was labeled as DVD and aux and it was a little switch that would switch between the two rca inputs. i guess i should have asked if you had a highs amp first
  3. if you wanted to you could probably add in an eq and retain the deck you have now, i know the legacy i have has two inputs on it, i dont know if the higher end models do or not
  4. looks like its been used and beat up
  5. act scores, halo combat evolved, and getting my hdc3 18
  6. so i downloaded the demo version of fl studio 10 and i cannot figure out how to make a beat with it. can anyone help?
  7. oh, i'm not really sure if you could do anything like that, though i think the dmv can check to see if it has been flooded or salvaged or anything like that
  8. couple of different places it can be, usually it would be on the dashboard on the drivers side. or it can be in the drivers door, or my jeep even has it stamped under the hood. and there are also vin codes on the engine, transmission, and frame
  9. what do you wanna know about it?
  10. yeah that's what doesn't make much sense to me. it seems if it simply switched the polarity it would only go in one direction. it looked like a single stack magnet so i really have no clue what it could be
  11. when i get spray paint on my hands i use a brillo pad so maybe it'll work for that too
  12. not allowed to answer the vs part but on the topic of the battery it would depend what you go with
  13. just modify your mounting plate. it looks like tat opening is din and 1/2 so since most eq's are 1/2din you should be able to fit it below the radio. as for the eq, i would check sound-stream or clarion,
  14. well i had the misfortune of getting behind a tractor this morning. needless to say my truck is covered in mud now
  15. this is what the new cane cutters look like, and this is how cane was loaded before the new combine harvesters. before the cane was loaded there was a cane cutter that would cut the cane and leave it in a row then a loader would come and load it into trailers.
  16. well living down here in Thibodaux Louisiana there was alot of culture. but where i lived was more towards the outskirts. so it was alot of cane fields around me so i would get to watch the harvests a lot and this is what the process looks like. one interesting fact is that the cane harvesters are actually made right here in Thibodaux by john deere, it used to be cameco but they got bought out.
  17. i think it was fix my speaker that told me they could build the rd sonance motor into a sub that can take 600 watts. does this sound about right for a 2.5inch voice coil? unless i sell the motor and put it towards one of the subs
  18. ah so bl's after what year would be good to look for 2010ish?
  19. ive seen a few bl d2's for 200 - 250 shipped, so if i find one of those deals ill definitely grab it.
  20. You can also get them with a 4 inch coil. Not sure on used prices. You would have to search several forums to see if people are selling them.. Usually The FI/AA stuff is not sold used to much because people that buy them love them, and never have a want or need to switch to something else. So even if you bought the Fi BL new the hd3 18 is $309-340 depending on what coil you get.. IMO it shouldnt be that hard to save $100-150 extra to get the Fi over the hd318. the majority of the money is comming from my friend buying my old xbox. other than that i might save like 5 dollars a month or 10 sometimes if i'm lucky. now if i can pick up a better job that allows me to work more than an hour a day i probobly could save up pretty fast
  21. Only throwing 1000-1500 watts to a BL or BTL is pointless. I dont see your logic. So throwing only 1000-1500 watts to a hd3 is not pointless then???? Especially when these subs can take 3000-4000 wrms daily, and I have tons of friends that use them under these conditions daily (Team DOA) i could probobly save up to get the bl but there is no telling how long that would take. it would be close to 445$ shipped to me with the cooling and p chamber options. but then again i would have a sturdy woofer. what do used bl's usually run?
  22. my goal is to be loud and not sound like total shit doing it. maybe compete with it a few times for the hell of it the reason I'm stuck on an 18 is because its the biggest i could fit, and i wouldn't have enough cash to get two good 15's and i didn't want 2 12's because everybody has that
  23. i need to choose in between an aq hdc3 18, saving up to get a fi bl/btl 18, getting a fi ssd 18, or another option i have would be to build an 18 with the rd sonance v2 motor i have. which ever sub i get would be going in a 6 cubic foot box with 97 inches of port area. i am looking for something that can take 1000 - 1500 watts. and something that can be loud and sound somewhat good while doing it
