just got 8 horns in today. i installed 4 of them on my quad. so now my quad has 2 6 1/2s 2 tweeters and 4 dispersion horns with a dual head unit and dual 400watt amp. i have the four horns hooked to one channel on the front. and i have the other speakers hooked up on the other channel. here's the video

even though i had to take algebra 2 in summer school im still ranked 82 out of 400 something students in my graduating class

it could be better but that is pretty decent for 200 dollars. isnt the box a little large though?

what do you mean remote switch. the remote turn on or the remote gain/ level.

i dont know what i bought them for. maybie i might turn my quad into an ice cream quad or some thing. The only thing you'll do is cause mass canine pandemonium. Those things are annoying as shit. I will NEVER use ANY set of speakers that use Piezo drivers, period...Even at nominal power, they pop easily. oh crap

that's what i figured id just have to try to match it as close as i can.

dont ask me why but i just ordered 4 sets of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PKZOGK/ref=ox_ya_os_product . im guessing it was because they are only 4 dollars a set, well i guess it wont be as stupid as my friend putting two radio shack horns in his Nissan hard body but i think i will either regret this because they will break in less than a day or i will get in trouble with the cops.

they say suited for 4-8 ohm applications so im gussing they are 4 ohm a piece since there are two per set. and if i can run them on the amp ill just run them on the headunit.

yeah id never buy their amps, the speakers are pretty decent for the price. good enough for my senior project at least.

This- if the speakers have single voice coils I was assuming he meant some 6.5's or something. So SVC was a safe bet. yeah just mids/highs. im not crazy enough to run 8 subs yet lol

single 4 ohm mids. and the amp is 2 ohm stable but i find it heats up way faster when ran at 2 ohm
