    most likely not. all the octane is, is a measure of how hard it is to ignite the gas

    if its running alittle bad you might have clogged injectors or you might have old plugs that need to be replaced

    i was browsing dc's website and i spotted this 390 amp alternator https://www.dcpowerinc.com/fit/2002~Chevrolet~Silverado~4.8L-V8/8237-390-xp.html. so i was wondering if anyone else make an alternator thats the same size or bigger. for an 02 silverado with a 4.8l v8

    has there ever been a digital magic 8 ball that you can program yourself to randomly choose your own answers. im talking about a physical magic 8 ball that just has digital guts. i think i could build one but im not sure how to write the code for it. i also think it would be hard to actually get the accelerometers and microchips boards and stuff like that.

    thanks for the detailed descriptions. i knew about the crossovers i just wasn't sure about how they would ohm because i figured it would be a 4 ohm mid-bass driver and a 4 ohm tweeter on the same channel so i wasn't sure how it was wired.

    well next time ill ask how to run a 1000 watt amp on a quad or something really difficult. sorry for being a noob and never having even seen a component system before let alone have one to mess with. i typically don't like google because i find it harder to understand than reading what someone who knows what they are talking about posts.

    i was wondering how the following things work on component speaker systems. 1. how many ohms do they read and how would you go about wiring them. 2. do you set your amp to full range instead of low pass or high pass. 3. whats the difference between active and passive crossovers. 4. how would a 2 way component be better than a regular 2 way speaker
