I was going to get one of those but like Zach said what sucks is that it doesn't have a CD drive.I've been using a Mac book for about 2 years and LOVE it.IMO it's much more user friendly and easier to use than a PC.

My bad on not listing the stuff I'm installing. For subs I'm installing 2 RF 412 12's connected to a RF 1500,then my Comps will be hooked up to a RF 4004.This will hopefully be cleaned up with a 3sixty2.As for the Crescendos,I appreciate the link and I'll be looking into them as well .

That is what i plan on doing.I'll be putting 2 sets in as well.I'm looking for loud,CLEAR with a good amount of bass but not overwhelming bass.In other words I'm looking for a set that won't be drowned out by my subs and won't get distorted at high volumes.I had a feeling that the RF's would do the job(am I correct??) but I'm also interested in other options.

How do the Focals compare to the Rf's and the Hetrz?

I'm about to buy my component speakers now and wanted a little input. As per my original plan that was put together with the help of the forum (THANKS AGAIN!!), I was originaly going to go with these speakers ROCKFORDS. After doing a bit of research on here as well as some other places I'm starting to lean towards THESE. I know that there are a bunch of threads on here with some pretty good comments about the Hertz but I wanted to know how they compare to the RF's (especially if anyone has actually compared the 2),and how would they sound with my RF4004 amp and the rest of my set up. ANY suggestions about other component sets would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks Again!!

Absolutely,I need to check out more systems.It's just that I was really surprised at how CLEAR the system was.Just by looking at the set up would lead you to believe that it was going to be just hard hittin' bass but it wasn't like that at all. As for me I'm planning on sticking to the RF-252's that I'm about to order and hopefully I'll get what I'm lookin' for. Not to hijack my own thread(and I know there are a bunch of posts on them) BUUUUUT does anyone have any feedback as to how Loud/clear they'll sound in my YUK connected to my RF 4004?

I think that was the concept that they were using.Kind of like a home audio system that has all the speakers in 1 tower That is what I mean,it had MAD bass but INCREDIBLE highs and it was super clear. Although it had the same concept as a home audio it wasn't all ghetto like putting a DJ speaker in the trunk of a car,LOL. That might be what it was.

The reason why I'm asking is because today at a shop I go to they were finishing up a install and they were explaining to me that along with a set of 15's they had also installed 2 12in and some tweeters in a custom box to add more voice. When he turned it on for me,not only did it have crazy bass, it also sounded CRYSTAL and LOUD (I'm talking REALLY CRYSTAL).He explained that they installed mids/highs in the door as well but the ones in the back added more projection.

Here goes another noob question ,I was wondering if there was a set of 12in. speakers that can be used for voice and if so can someone recommend some to me? Basicly I'm asking about 12in speakers along with some tweeters for mids/highs. Thanks Alot

Just to give a quick update,I got my 2 RF 12's in the other day,and my RF T1500 amp in today All brand new & they look sexy as F&%K together!! I'm currently working with someone locally on a box design,and will be placing a order for a alt. more than likely from Mechman. I'm thinking about going with a Optima Yellow top batt. because a dealer near me is giving me a pretty good deal IMO.As for the Components and the RF T4004 amp, I haven't ordered them up yet because I'm waiting to see what kind of deal I get from the same dealer thats getting me the battery. It's all coming together slowly but surely and by the looks of thing I'm pretty happy so far .I'll post some pix of things from the beginning once things get rollin' a bit more. Any other suggestions are ALWAYS welcome.
