  2. just fold down the strands that don't fit and electrical tape them to the insulation shit so if you get an amp that can fit 1/0 guage you can untape and fold back up.
  3. Your dead on with those candles, those things take ALL the wax out. if you use them, have someone help you hold the candle and catch some of the ash that falls. they sell them in nail saloons around here or those types of places i dont know where they are around you buy he might be right about ebay.

I would check your header down pipe 02 sensor (the first one closest to the engine) mine did the same exact thing but mine was on a jeep i figured out that one of the wires had separated and cause it to malfunction horribly. before you just replace your cat unhook it and drive say around the block and see if you notice a difference.

Just thinking about it i dont know which way your sub is gonna be facing but i would imagine if you did it sub back you would glass the back then put the front on that holds the sub and glass the front by reaching threw the sub mounting hole. if its sub forward glass the front in and reach threw the hole and glass the back. if your seats don't fold down this might not be helpful

  7. I have it sub and port into the car for some reason it doesn't seem to be as loud as it could though. I was thinking sub forward and port to the side but I thought I would get opinins before I try anything

  9. i think the alt is 130 and i will be getting batteries soon. I'm not going all out on the volume right now so i know its not full tilt but if i want to i can i just don't due to electrical lackness.

  13. I have a DD 9515G with a DD Z LV at 1 ohm. I used to have a jeep with around 6 cubes tuned to around 42 and that wont fit so i built a new box to 3.75 with 34 hertz and i just don't like the way it sounds at all. the port and sub are forward and its not cutting it. i need to know which way the sub and port go to be the loudest in a trunk car. i would like to do something with aero ports so i can change the tuning on it. i got 22Dx27Wx17H to work with thanks guys

  15. yea mine was a 98 and i had 41 and it was kinda tight prolly could have got the 42 in there but 41 was close to max
  16. If your talking wheel well to wheel well its 41 unless its pre-1997 then i couldn't tell you if its the same

  20. that's what i thought I'm amping it 2 times from HU and factory amp, is there a way to stop the HU itself or the factory? I mean this is driving me nuts or is there any other solutions?
  21. alright i've done some thinking and now i need some advice. if i was to buy an amp where would the tweets go? i see a front and rear. i don't think they have a crossover on the tweets now. If i don't need an amp to make them work right i don't wanna buy one, i believe they have a factory amp on them haven't found it yet but going to look tomorrow. can you post some links to the stuff i need. Thanks
  22. guess ill go that route i just don't understand why the stock wouldn't distort and i could max the volume, the speakers are amplified but that's from the stock amp thing.
  23. i just got a new car and it has an infinity sound system in it for the door speakers and tweets and with the original head-unit it wouldn't distort. after i put my kenwood excelon x791 it distorts after vol 20 out of 35. it doesn't distort if i put it on the 2 zone setting but then the sub doesn't play. the head-unit has LPF for fronts and backs but it didnt help and the -8 bass still did nothing. whats the best and cheapest way to stop them from distorting?
  24. my jeep was sagging so i bought air shocks because my box and sub was sagging it even more than the shitty leafs, now it doesn't even sag. there about 60 bucks at autozone and they install just like normal shocks.
  25. let me side track if you don't mind. but on polyfill wont it get blown out or around the box and if you fill the box with it around the sub and everything is there a chance the sub can suck some in?(not really SUCK but get it close to the voice coil and mess it up?)
