  1. Ya I'm gonna need a couple soon too. You could add a second story just for your stock on behind the shop! I know a guy who could help you do it.....................used to frame......................has inactive license but has license....................................just sayin!! We need to conference anyway! one day I'm gonna come over and chat with you about a couple projects I've got going, or at least starting!
  2. Linky is wrong Should be this http://www.wccaraudio.com/
  3. Very nice looking TB and nice list of equipment!
  4. Actually I think the port area per foot is too low there. I upped it to 18h x 11w x 23 L and got 32.99 hz at 14.16 cu ft which is just slightly above the recommended 3.5cu ft per DC Specs.
  5. What about this?
  6. And BY THE WAY......it's ALWAYS your fault! You're a mod, it comes with the job! But something tells me you get a kick out of it! I say swing away N8, swing away!!!
  7. What I love is when they bash him or this site they always say he talks crap about everyone or talks down to everyone like they're idiots. But if you ever ask them why he did that or what they asked for that response, it was some stupid question or comment that deserved a "cyber" slap in the face anyway! I've talked to, dropped in on, and interrupted the guy about 3 times at the shop, unintentionally, and he's never ever been rude to me! If you have something stupid to say or question, you're most likely gonna get talked to like an idiot, and that's just real life!
  8. So I'm fairly new to ported box building myself, but if you've not tried it go download the Torres Calculator and mess with it a bit. I think with these guys, you'd be better off telling them your goals, equipment you have or want, and what space you have available. Just suggestions.
  9. I didn't see anywhere, what are the specs on your box and what is it tuned to? I was thinking about 4 8's for my truck and I'm wondering what space I'm looking at. I have about 6.5 cubes to work with.
  10. Would you guys throw an SAZ2500 at a pair of these or is that overpowering them way too much? Wish they had a straight 2000 watt amp. What is everyone going to build their enclosures to? What cf per sub?
  11. I'm waiting for the box Steve! I have big plans for a new Tahoe/Suburban, and these beastly little guys will do the job nicely! I'm gonna have to get with you and listen to it when the box is done!
  12. Nice work Steve! BTW, that's got to be one of the weirdest tails I've ever seen! Is that a door back there!? Looks like one of those weird art pictures. Maybe a door for an umpa lumpa to fit in the tail! Funny! Lettering looks great though Steve!

  16. Ok. That makes sense. That's kind of what I've got going in my car right now. I've got 4000 watts potentially, 4 1000 watt amps, in my current design. I've got a mechman H/O 220amp alt going in, and planning on an XS Power D5100 up front in the main spot, and an XS D3100 in the rear for audio duties. Now it's not a ground pounder, it's more like a mix of SQ and Bass. Not sure if that matters. Anyway, thanks for the info.
  17. Now I'm still learning so this may sound like a dumb question but in this list, how do you know what your power requirements are needing to be if you don't have your equipment set already? Have you already designed the system and you are now just tackling the electrical first?
  18. Just pm'ed you on this. Hmmm i am not sure an Ipod would put out enough voltage to trigger the DD-1. Do you use any sort of line driver (or powered EQ/Processor) or is it straight from the ipod to the amp? I did this on my Samsung Galaxy with the DD1 Steve. It's doable for sure. Let me know if you want details to answer questions for folks.
  19. He's a local guy here in sac, but has a shop in Vacaville. His name is Vince, and he's an SQ Master Class winner (I think that's the class). It's a sick ass set up! Here's the link to his shop. You can see that scion there. http://www.audio-xperts.com/
