hell no. Too many fasteners. I hated putting them all on. It only took one small piece to make a big difference so i already put more on it than i had to

i see you popped the little plastic psrt out and hot glued "i think" it, but how did you mount the main part? Thats the only thing stopping me from doing this I drilled small holes and screwed them in. They are screwed in AND have some hot glue on them for a little extra holding strength.

before anyone asks...i did the slight tilt on the VM-1 on purpose. I felt it looked better that way than when it was straight. It kinda follows the bottom flat part of the tach gauge next to it. It could have been fine both ways but my eyes were telling me to turn it just a little bit. Plus, i needed that space to bring the corner of the circuit board out of the way so it wouldn't hang over the edge. I'm happy with it! Thanks!

inspired by Brent Leavitt who did a VM-1 in his Tahoe dash cluster about a year ago.....didn't see how he did it, and it's a different year, but he still had me wanting to do it from the first day i saw him do it. But i one-upped him and did a TM-1 also haha. BAM.

It's VERY important these wires be detachable...in case you have to take the cluster out for service. you do NOT want to have to cut it all out later. If i had to do this all over again, and i might for some other vehicle, i will use a molex connector with plenty of pins to do the job. You guys have seen me do that in the past and normally i would. But this was short notice and i am out of one large enough to handle it all. This works fine video coming soon! working on it now!

The LED's are wired up, there will be a video on how the Mercury switch works soon. I was trying to find an easy spot to put his SMD VM-1 and SMD TM-1 by the dash not really knowing what we were going to do. I didn't want to do anything fancy because i think he want's to do an Ipad mini eventually in the dash. So before i pull the trigger and fabricate something, i want to make sure he know's what he wan'ts so we don't do the work twice. Then i realized....there is 2 prime spots right in front of our face! I will let the pics do the talking. So i just started pulling it apart, to see what kind of room i had. To my surprise, there is ENOUGH! Ok before you ask why one hole was cut with a hole saw and the other was cut with my air tool......it is because the hole saw would have cut into the top of the factory temperature gauge numbers (dashes) a little bit. It would have shown. So i had to do a circle with a flat spot on the bottom so that would not happen. The hole is a LOT more rough but it doesn't really matter as it gets covered by the new gauge. I just thought i would explain that. As you will see i am capable of a clean hole i was just out of options for the VM-1 spot.

Steve, I need to clean up the amp rack(read MDF board) in my 04 Escalade. Is his amp rack bolted to those seat rods? I'd like to build an amp rack like this. Thank you guys for sharing. I got tired of listening to my sheet metal door skins rattle like a tin can while driving the RZR....so i did something about it today.

it's VERY nice. Rode around a little in the rain up and down the street and the field across from the shop. Felt great but I couldn't keep it in a straight line in 2wd mode. She just wants to be sideways I gotta stay in 4wd mode in order to not drift when i punch the gas LOL. I can't wait to take it somewhere fun, maybe tomorrow. I can't wait to see the video. Probably looks and sounds 10 times better in person, and that's saying something because it looks bad ass in pics and vids. i didn't make a video today. But i'm sure i will at some point. I already have a video or 2 of the turbo on youtube

Not sure who told you that but my aunt swears it is him. She is certain of it. I have no way to confirm though i will ask her what her source is. They live 3000 miles away so i don't talk to her every day.

Today i made it official. I edited the back glass on the box LOL It was harder than it looked. The RZR logo is not a font but a graphic. So my son and i made this. He photoshopped me up a Jpeg and i finished it up on my vinyl cutting software to make it something my cutter can recognize. Basically i vectorized it. But anyway, it feels good to have my system WITH WOOFERS playing and have the extra boost. I thought for sure i would have to choose one or the other
