WELL THE PROBLEM IS that when the low bass hits it sounds like the sub is on free air,and loud port noise.it hits the higher bass notes really good but i dont like aero ports anymore too much port noise.im going to build another box.smaller too,like 4.50 cubes before displacement

right now the ports are 12 1/2 inches Long.and its a trunk car but i get alot of port noise sound like shit when you listen to it from 2 feet away,(open trunk) but when i close the trunk it sounds alright

L7 on a BXI 1606 @ 1 ohm.hope it pounds.right now i have a box thats 5cube with 4 4"ports but i get alot of port noise.it doesnt even sound good at all

well if i build the port 4"height the subs is not going to fit because the box is only 14"height outside dimensions. and subs is 8 1/2 mounting depth so is going to rub on the port

i change port design. now its going to be 32 1/2 width x 2"heigth.now i have 65 sq of port.here a pic

i think i got like 62.50 of port area and box is 4.75cubic after displacement.need to find out how long my port need to be so it could be tuned @ 38 hertz

well im thinking of building a box for my 2000 honda accord.i need help on how to find port area on a slot port & how long it need to be to be tuned @ 38 hertz.here a pic of the box design .15" kicker speaker facing up and port facing the interior(front).port is going to be 5"W x12 9/16 H box dimensions are 34width x 14 height x 27deep
