How much might it cost to check that? Sorry if I sound kinda stupid but I'm under the impression that an engine wouldnt fit and work for 37k if something was wrong.

What else would it have been replaced with that would make it unreliable?

Was looking around again and was wondering if this: http://austin.craigslist.org/cto/2898339300.html would be a deal. It's $600 cheaper and the only issue is the driver window, which shouldnt be too expensive, I think. I looked around the internet and it seems very reliable. Plus it's 4WD, which is a huge plus for me. And I can make due without the bed space. It's still more cargo space than a Ford Escort.

Know any way to prevent that just in case? Also, it wouldnt be in the garage, it'll be parked in to street.This is going to be the first car I've ever had input into buying. Well if it was exclusively my decision, the lack of AC/heater doesnt bother me in the slightest. It's family that's worried about it.

Well right now it's a hard enough to get the wifey to agree to any vehicle I run across, so worrying about tranny flush isnt something I'd bring up immediately. And I'm to make sure I have as much information available priior to talking to the seller since the seller is about an hour's drive away.

Well on the AC/Heater, uncle quoted me around $600 in just labor but still need to run that by the wifey. As for oil change, already planned on doing that regardless. Same with air filter. Why the tranny flush? Is there something I dont know?

I don't have a spare key. And I know it's because the key is old and worn. It doesn't bother me in the slightest that the key comes out while the car is on. It doesn't fly out, and it does have some resistance to it when I pull it out in drive. I mainly only take it out like that when I need in the trunk and don't want to turn the car off.

Havent tried starting it without the key. Having troubles getting it to start WITH the key right now.

Question if your bass slaps hard does your key fall out cause u could be on to a new thing a key trick lol I'll let you know once I get me some decently hard hitting bass hooked up. 300w on a 12 sure aint enough.

Honestly, be glad your key sticks. I can do 100 down the highway and pull my car out like its nothing.

they took the front of the head unit so the poor guy would have to buy another one. Probly mad cause it was installed right and was hard to take the whole thing. So he figures if he can't steal it the owner won't beable to use it ether. That would burn my ass if it were me. I would have them just took the whole thing. Hateful ass people in this world of ours. Just out of the blue today, the heater fan just stopped working. I get hot and cold air out if the vents but with no force behind it. I've checked all of the fuses and all are good. The car is a 97 Ford Escort 2.0L SOHC.

My uneducated guess would be that you have voltage drop on the left. Is the right side closer to the power supply? That could be the issue, but like I said, uneducated guess.
