Yup No Burnouts..... Sorry for not posting. Was one hella of a World Finals here in Laughlin. Much respect and love to all of the competitors who came out to the dessert. Well as a Team we did our best. Some equipment failures and even box failures. Just thank god we all were abel to get in the lanes when the time came. I got to especially thank Rez Life Andy and his brother Nick for coming through with some Woofers. I SMOKED my subs right before qualifing with no back ups. For a minute there I felt like I got stood up on Prom night, ALL DRESSED UP AND NO WHERE TO GO. Thanks Fellas.

Looks like your still not paying attention. LOL. The show is this Saturday. Well I called Joey and he's passed out and to be quite honest I'm pretty damn tired myself. Sorry Vic not only are my rides old school but so is my media. You'll have to wait until I get home in order to see pics. OH I rented a Grand Marquis (just like you crown vic), LOL. It sure is comfy, reminds me of my caddy.

So its been a crazy ass week but, here I am sitting in the room in Laughlin. Got the computer up and figure I start a new thread which I'll up date as this weekend unfolds. It has been one hell of a season and it almost brings a tear to my eye to see it end. Driving in to Laughlin from Vegas was rather relaxing. I thought back to all the shows I attended. Not one did I prepare or stress as much as I did just to get here. Not to mention the $$$ factor. Well I'm gonna head down stairs and see where the rest of the competitors are at and have a drink. I'll be posting from roll-in tomorrow.

Oh man please do. Just be warn. Not every show is like Finals. I wish it was. Laughlin is gonna be great may not have as many competitors as Indy but you know it should be great either way. As far as getting meter time highly unlikely because of the tight schedule we are on. Walk around, check out the cars and talk to the competitors including us. A lot of us comeptitors have mics too, some charge some don't, we normally ask for $20 which normally goes into more beer. As far as I know there is no charge to spectate but, there may be parking fees or something FYI.

Navi I ain't gonna regret what I told someone on a PM. Like our so called lack of integrity the West Coast has for Bass Race. I see how others have the same lack of integrity towards PM and e-mail. So my personal thoughts and feelings are posted. It doesn't change the fact I continued to support my team, the sport, Doug and anyone else who came out into the lanes.

Well if your gonna be there that early I'll be down to play cards. as far as packing a 12 or packing my clubs, the bag is gonna be flying wtih me and my clothes. The 12 I'm not packing in the back of my truck just to destroy it LOL. The back of the truck is gonna have tools and extensiod cords, chargers and whatever else. Joey's truck might be able to store things in the front as long as nothing goes in the port. I'd just hate to see any of trucks getting to finals with damaged woofers or equipment for that matter. Whats Greg's plans? Is he planning on driving down still?

I hope your coming to compete but, hell if your coming just to play thats cool too. I figure might as well make a mini vacation out of it. LOL and this is Laughlin not Vegas. So better believe what happens in Laughlin EVERYBODY is gonna hear about it. LOL

I'm torn on this subject. The first time I heard that their was a West Coast Finale I thought it was a great idea. I even thought it being in Reno was cool too (elevation made it more challenging). Then when I heard that dB dragracing World Finals was going have a location out West I was like "SWEET". Now that oUr competitor base has been growing it really has been some fun times going to shows. On the flipside, to award money to just the West Coast Competitors and not the rest of the Competitors is not really kousher. I'm not gonna say no to the money that I have definately put in on but, we shall see. Wether finals is in Sacramento, Laughlin or San Mateo won't make a difference to me. NO VOTE CAST.

1st: I qualified for the money in dB Drag and Bass Race. I'll email Wayne to get that sorted out. 2nd: My .02 on the last .15. I'm sure we can all agree on this, handing out change for a prize fund is cool but, can be more of a pain then anything. I suggest take all the loose change and throw into a piggie bank and lets just roll into next years prize fund but, the change has to stay in the piggie bank for the whole season and at each show next season we just add to the piggie bank. "whatever you got in your pocket at shows". Then next years prize fund deduct the loose change after its all divided up again. Hopefully by next year's prize fund we wll be able to take all thats collected and turn in to some kind of charity fund.

You can't go wrong with a single sub set up. A lot of people wil tell you to go with two and more. It's just my.02 and my experience that recommended it. Air Bags are completely new beast. I guess another good advice would be do an electrical upgrade now. Your gonna start putting on accessories like a system, an alarm, air bags, maybe some lights or something, Your electrical is crucial. If you go into the electrical part of the forum there is a pinned thread about the Big 3. If your don't know about it read about it. If you do know about it that is a great tutorial and step by step instructions. That alone will help with basic "charging". A good battery and alternator eventually wll be needed as well. Ascendant Audio mid-end line's woofers aren't too deep. They are your basic stamp steel frames. DC Audio lvl 2 or 3 is also a nice way to go.

Love the budget you got and much props for getting that at your age. I think you can do hell of a lot with that and not have to dump it all into the system. I say go with the less is more attitude on this build. Here's my .02. First go have an alarm installed. The, look into the Ascendant Audio line which basically is Fi with a different dust cap. Not sure all the details why Scott released this line but a lot of the fellas on the team has ran it and its an excellent line. Instead of 2 12's I say cut down to one and corner load it. Since you have a single cab truck that thing should sound solid. I'd also say go with the Ascendant Audio Components. They do not come with a crossover so you'll need to make sure that At least the amp has one that you put in (which majority them do). A nice five channel would be great for it but, being space is an issue a 4channel under one and small mono block under the other would be ideal. I'mnot sure what amplifiers your into but, a lot of folks run sundown on here ( I haven't tryed them yet) or the new RF line is nice as well. After you chose a head unit I say you spend about 3-4 if you pay retail. If you look around on here you might get it from 2500-3500. What other mods you gonna do? Lower, Tint,Wheels

Nah the one year competing is to show me/us that you want and willing to compete and not just cruisie around town runing your mouth and bumping your shit with a team sticker on your ride. We don't want that kind of drama and reputation. We have seasoned veterans as well as one year rookies on the team now. It is definately grown this year. Maybe a little more next year. If he wants to come out for the regional event I don't see no harm in that. Actually I think that would be prettty impressive. First show is World Finals!!! Talk about coming out swining. I mean so he can't go for the title or the money. If the man is willing to pay the entry fees.
