  1. If you notice it should now blend with stock blacks (such as your lock screen) and not stand out against it. Makes everything blend better and look "flush" IMHO.
  2. Did a little bit of work to that.. nothing huge just a couple simple changes.
  3. If I send $ to PayPal with address connected, can you have them shipped tomorrow? I know it's a nooby thing to ask but I've got an install I gotta do this week and the guy left me with 0 time.
  4. Videos, don't mind me trying to talk over the bass like an idiot in the first video: My half ass job at resealing my windshield is failing me now..
  5. Score updates w/new port: Sealed up, mic on the dash.. 32hz: Driver door open, mic on the dash.. 32hz: Driver door open, mic on the dash.. 20hz just for fun: Driver door open, mic in the kick.. 32hz: Gives me a .5dB gain sealed up and a .6dB gain with the door open/mic on the dash with the new port.
  6. Stock 80a rewound to ~120a. Nothing special. Keeps up though. Never go under 11.5. New port too, still haven't installed t-nuts. Audibly louder. Sounds even more so amazing down low, even though I'm tuned higher. I think it made a huge difference going external with the porting too. Old one has all the screws in it (6x6x10, made tuning ~45hz), new one is on top (7x7x10, makes tuning ~52 IIRC)
  7. Coming along beautifully (I use the term beautiful loosely). Atomic AT3000.1d @ 1 ohm
  8. Finishing the enclosure today hopefully. Gotta trim the cutout holes a hair & drop the top panel on.. then test fit. :excited:
  9. We checked & double checked. Gotta push it in through the back doors & do some movin' but it fits.
  10. I did a TON of cutting to fit it. I had cut once before to fit the last enclosure which was ~6.2 before any displacements. This one is ~8 before displacements. The walls & woofers drop it to about 6. When I do aeros in my dummy baffle it will drop the ported lower.. but that is all a part of the grand scheme.
  11. The lines represent where the panel will be mounted on the front of the box, the red smudges represent the panels the t nuts will be sunk into along with utilizing the 3/4" lip from the top & bottom panel for a good seal. I'll just seal the trunk off BEHIND the dummy panel so that it doesn't "unseal" the trunk per-say when I swap panels. Kind of a jank drawing but I'm sure you get the general idea.
  12. My car seems to peak extremely low.. so my goal is to break a 50 by summer. If I don't do it with this box.. it's on to the next. LOL. The interchangeable port should help a LOT when it comes to metering, however. Gonna be able to try different aero port configurations, slots, whatever I want really. I've got some 10" I'm itching to use.. but haven't crunched the numbers yet to see if it'll work.
  13. I know it's nothing spectacular or anything & I probably won't get much feedback.. but I figured I'd post the log anyway.
  14. Started on the enclosure yesterday. Starting on the baffles: Done: Dry fit: Building sealed chambers: Back wall added: Bottom added and sealed up: Sub cutouts are just a tad too small, didn't think to check that before hand lol. High grit sandpaper or a small runover with a router should do the trick. Gonna wait to put the top on for ease of dropping woofers in. Its not impossible to add/remove them with the top panel on but its just gonna be 100x easier with it off. Going to try a port with 2x2s first, then gonna play with different size aeroports with a removable front baffle. It'll be interchangable for music/SPL/whatever.
  15. Took some videos & scores before pulling it all out to build the 4th order blow through. Did some work this weekend.. pulled it all out to prep for the new enclosure. Got the body saw out & did some work in the rear deck to fit this new beast of a box. My poor car hates me. I'm getting new suspension in the rear to handle the added weight too. I gained close to 3" just taking it all out so I figure I probably oughta handle that. A little testing before taking the existing setup out.. this score is w/the 4 SA10s @ 1 ohm on the Atomic 3k in ~5 cubes @ 33hz. Driver door open, mic on the dash. Before: Half way there: After: A little bit of pretty work to be done to the rear deck still.. but it'll happen when the enclosure goes in & I either glass it in or seal it off w/wood & wrap it. Here is the new box design: Port will be firing into the cabin of the vehicle & sealed off from the trunk.
  16. Here it is just thrown in on a MB Quart DSC1500.1, no big woop. Just getting a general idea of what it sounds like, yes the sub cutouts aren't centered. No big deal.
