  1. What is all thread? And where could I get it?
  2. What should I use to brace my box? Are there some things that work better then others? Let me know. Oh and I was also wondering what should the dimensions of my port be if my vehicle peaks at 46 hz? My box is around 12 cubic feet, one chamber, and I am doing subs up port near rear glass in the center of the box, and I just don't know how big to make it.
  3. You can get the Hifonics XX Colossus II and run 800 rms to each sub if your running four, I can't say wether or not it puts out more then it is rated at but I have heard it does. Goes for about $660 shipped on eBay.
  4. I'll be there But I am not exactly sure what it is. All I know is that it is a car show What else goes on?
  5. Well if you have that much money to spend, then you can buy a set up that will hit a whole lot harder. My batcap, wiring kit, subs, and amp only cost $830, I am in the mid 140's on TL, and that was the cost for everything! So if you can spend that much look around online, ebay, even on here. You can find a much better deal.
  6. Well someone already bought my amp for $400.. and I only paid $160 hah.. But the subs in my signature in a box, two soundstream t5-15s.. Oh and shipping if it weighs around 65 pounds is only $13 with dhl.
  7. Bump.. Make me an offer I know what your thinking.. "Oh P2's suck.." But these actually sound really, really good! And your getting a great amp!
  8. Alright well I am gonna try to figure out shipping so I will just put in 65 pounds. And I am very interested I just wouldn't be able to buy it till income tax time or when someone buys my stuff.
  9. What did you have this in and how did it sound? I'm thinking about buying it and putting a different sub in, what is your area code so I can figure out shipping costs. Oh and what is the weight?
  10. Are these 10" or 12"? Also what is the recommended box size, rms, peak, etc?
  11. Also, I am not sure if it snows a lot where you live but this car is definitely not made for snow, that is why I also have an SUV haha but still a great car!
  12. I have a 96 which i use for a work car and my girlfriend has the 98. They get amazing gas mileage(Mine has the V6 and it still gets great mileage) and they are also pretty roomy for how small they are. Plus with that amout of miles it should last you quite a long time so that explains the price. But all in all they are great cars.
  13. I am selling this set up for a friend. Like the title say's there are Two Rockford Fosgate P2 12's, they are single 4 ohm. They come in a custom ported box, not carpeted, Around 5 cubes. He built it himself so it isn't the best sounding box but I was surprised at how well these subs hit in it. They are mounted inverse? I guess you'd call it, the magnets are showing is what I am trying to say haha. It also comes with an amp, it is a TMA(Total Mobile Audio) which is a JL company, it is the T1000.1, great amp, they were recalled awhile back, this was one of those, it was fixed and is now running stronger then ever, this amp pushes out 1000 RMS @ 1 ohm. I don't know how much to sell this all for but the amp alone goes for around $300-400+ at Sound Solutionz I believe. Everything appears to be in good condition, there is a scratch or two on the amp but nothing serious. I guess I will say $400 plus shipping or best offer for everything, just make an offer, it is for sale locally so it could go at anytime, let me know if your interested. Also if you live in California around Sacramento/Roseville ETC I can deliver it or you can pick it up, either way. I am located in Reno, Nevada 89431.
  14. What about a burnt version of a DB Drag Cd? I have DB Drag Volume 8(whichever one has 98 tracks) I believe on a burnt Cd, are those okay? Sorry for thread jack.
  15. I Don't know what the suggested box size is for the MT but even if what you have to work with is smaller it is still possible you just won't be getting as much as you can out of them. It will still sound pretty good though.
  16. Alright yah I definitely will I am really considering that bxi but we will see what happens in the future haha thank you for the advice!
  17. I was just checking out the Hifonics BXi, and it looks pretty good, does anyone have experience with this amp? I have heard quite a few hifonics amps and they all have sounded great, same with the autotek, anyone know about it? I know they make pretty solid amps as well.
  18. Alright thank everyone for the advice, yah for both of my T5s shipped I paid $450 and for everything(amp, wiring, subs, batcap) around $800 and I am hitting Around 144 on TL in a pre-fab box so I am quite happy at the moment. I'd just like to actually push the recommended RMS to them! I still have a lot of options so any more ideas would be great. Thanks again!
  19. I am running two Soundstream T5-15s, They are Dual 2-Ohm subs, They are each 1000 RMS each so I need an amp that pushes out atleast 2000 RMS Any suggestions are welcome or if you have one you would like to sell let me know, thank you.
  20. Alright thank you everyone and right now I have stock alt and everything even a pre fab box, my amp only pushes half the power of my subs, its horrible i only have an optima under the hood and my xstatic in the back but for christmas i am getting a 250 amp alt, soundstream pca2000d, extra stinger battery for the back, and a custom box finally i got metered for the first time yesterday and i didnt really get to play around but at 46 hz i scored 141.3 on the tl and at 55 hz i scored 143.1 on the tl both legal scores so im very new to competing but rusty said id be a good bass racer in the 139 class. with the uprgades im looking to get a little higher
  21. I was just wondering because I was always see "Street C" "Street B" etc and I was wondering how you determine what class your in. I bass race 130-139.9 if that at all matters.
  22. I was definitely there today haha nice vid man and thanks again for that cd
  23. Well I had that amp powering my two 15" MTX 5500s which are only 600 peak 300 rms each and the amp was running at two ohms so it was pushing out around double the recommended power and the subs handled it for about a month till i got rid of all of it. And I am not sure what the gain was set at or anything I had it all adjusted at sound solutions when i got it installed.
  24. It is very cheap..That is why I have 2 for my next build haha.. Well I can't say for sure, but I know the A3000db does, and I know that with my PS2-2600, it is rated at only 540 RMS x 2 @ 2 ohms, my subs are 1000 rms each and it pushes them hard, i scored 148.5 on tl and my whole set up cost around $800.
  25. I agree PA makes a very great amp for a very low price. I mean the PS1-5500D pushes out 3200 RMS at 1-ohm and it is only $298 shipped, PA is your best bet for inexpensive power in my opinion.
