yeah, its amazing what the camera phone catches that the naked eye doesnt... looks like major distortion to me... 1.6' precision power pcx104's pounded em like this for the better part of a year with no issues... and sounded damn good (best 47$ea i could imagine spending on subs!!!!!!!!!) when i would pull some real real lows with alotta volume id push em to thier mechanical limit, so of corse hadda pull some volume outta it when i really didnt want too. and dont mind my hick ass seat covers i had at the time

yeah, its 4 fuses.. 80a total... i got it to cut quick one time... with just two precision power pcx 104's but i was taking a 1ohm load to it (swapped around back to 2ohm and never had a prob) ... ive put it on some precision power pro124's and it never shut off.... fucker was cookin though ... how u think this stacks up to the fosgate punch 150.... 25to life

this amp has been passed around my group of friends like a 12yo boy with a group of priests... hahahah but the model # is missing off the back, has no numbers or anything, its been a damn good amp for what ive used it for.. jus lookin for some info on it... im thinking its missing a "v12" cover plate thing.. cause i found once a 4ch amp that looked almost identical but only one fan... even with the model number of the 4ch i couldnt google and find this... any help would be nice.. thanks in advance guys!!

yeah, once apon a time, (few months ago) my one buddie that was/is into competition audio, that really got me into audio was showin me all kinds of shit, and i had all kinds of equations and stuff to help figure what needs to be what... (if that makes sense) but i have the memory of a goldfish, so unless it says pounded into my head i forget shit fast. haha he moved back down to arizona and i just text him when i have a question. haha so not as sharp as i use to be.. but hell im 22 so i have a long time to learn. i think though imma have to deal with the 51hz b.s because the 1.6ft box im glassing now is all the room i have for where im putting it... i guess that will fly though.. not competing or anything. jus lookin for good sq.. for now

yeah man. 51hz ... kinda made me raise an eyebrow, but i have em in a temporarly in a trans line box while i finish my center console up and shit plays pretty damn low! so im not gonna cry too much about it.

damn guys!! haha i simply asked if i would gain anything from sound deadening my roof!... cheaper alternative as sound deadener... dont see being a big of a deal as using say lightning audio subs/amps in a "build a box kit from walmart"... peel and seal may or may not work the same as a legit porpous built sound deadener, but that wasnt my question. i like the peel and seal, dollar for dollar, good enough for me to not regret using it. i think we all get our mdf and liquid nails from lowes so not all lowes equip is junk! haha

lol!! i personally like the tar tape. but main question was being spl gain. haha ive never compaired side by side with "peel and seal" vs dynamat... so i donno how big of a diffrense. so i cant say one better than the other.

nooooob question, cant really find a cut and dry answer, so here it goes... i have two 10" fosgate p3's playing in (give or take just a little) 1.6'.... followed the box advisor on thier site, is my F3 what i should be "tuned" at? witch would be a HIGH ASS 51hz thanks for the help

cause im not rich lol. i did some resurch befor i did my doors, and this tar tape was said to be affective, altough not the best, and may smell like tar... my truck smells nothing like tar so i lucked out! dont get me wrong, if i had the dough, id spring for the dynamat... but hell, 15$ for a 50' roll... i did all 4 doors for 15$.... figure if i do double layer on roof, single layer on floor and double layer on back of cab... should help a good ammount.. or were u talkin something else when u said correct way???

like it says... trucks going in the bodyshop hopefully this saturday to fix where i got hit, while the doors are off i figure fuck it ill pull the seats and carpet/headliner out and go to town with the "tar" tape.... i know when i did my doors with the lowes special foil backed tar tape shit they sound night and day better, think doing my roof and floor will help me be any louder?? i plan on doing eather way, jus curious if anyone has any persional experience with this

not sure if the pioneer p3100avh (cant remember if that the exact model number... somewear along the lines of that though) is still ava. but thats what im using.. it cost like 300$ i absolutely love it... lots of eq shit to play with and it does great with the door speakers/woofer controlls... has all kinds of options for add ons too. its a touch screen double din too witch i like alot.

x2 on the angle, id say round the corners inside of the box where the port is too.... smooth it out a bit as well/help lessen port noise

i personally like glassing over a mdf box.... that way your box can be ideal internal measurements and ya just shape the outside... im doing that with my center console now... not really shaping, but smeared a mix of glass resin and bondo all around, let it harden, sanded it down a bit, then bondo'd it and sanded smooth. getting painted to match my truck.

yeah, cause with my ppi's in 1.6 cuft sealed, according to my phone, i was doing 119~121 (just playing music)... my p3 fosgates in this trans line box. WWWAAAAAYYYYYY louder and im reading just about the same.

now i know the shit cant be very accurate, but has anyone compaired a phone like say the MY TOUCH with the spl meter app vs. an accual spl meter??
