  1. @bcpballer64 the site is still updating and migrating everything over to the new version of IPS.

There are over 40 tasks of things needed to be updated, and with over 10 years of content its going to take some time.

You can only dedicate so much processing power to these tasks with out making the forum noticeably slow with too many background processes being done at once.

New themes are coming, it just takes time.

You can see what is being updated, and what hasn't even started to be update yet here.

PS: Did you notice the new tagging feature where you just @"persons name here" ;p

  2. I remember back in 2012 when I bought my brand new XS D2400, it measured 12.3V out of the box. I was pissed. They could have at least charged them before sending them to me (bought from audiosavings ).

My XP3000 came out of the box at 12.7V

If you read the paper that comes with all XS Power the first thing it tells you in bold italic letters is Proper Charging is Crucial! Charge before initial use!

It also even states this in the instruction manuals on the site.

As for any new battery no matter what manufacture, or what type it is, or where you bought it you should give it a full charge before use.

You have no idea how long that new battery has sat on a shelf at said store or warehouse and this is why you should always give it a full charge.

  3. Special thanks to Audiofanaticz for the emotional support haha...he also saved me $175 bucks by helping me price match something in my basket that was on sale. Then he turned around and cost me $500 MORE by telling me i should get a m.2 hard drive which was north of $800 by itself. Oh well i LOVE IT.

    :P

it's been a minute since i benchmarked my PC. What is the latest "standard" in testing? Is it still firestrike? 3dmark? I need a link to the latest...ill post results for reference :)

There is a new one out now.

Firestrike is old news, I think the new one is cloudgate or something, still 3dmark software.
