Id also add another rear matching battery (1600) With two rear batteries you will be louder Well maybe not louder, but a more succifent current of juice since both batteries will be in the rear close to your amp, which results in less resistence. Where as if you put the new battery up front, the current is going to have to travel through 15+ feet of wire before it reaches your amp.

It will be tuned daily most likely 40-45hz bassracer.

This was a design we worked up for my buddys mazda. two 3515s, 11cubed tuned at 50. Wasnt really a wall, but in the car it looked like one. It was a big box for sure, but dual chamber. I was also thiking of porting on the side like this. Im just looking for ideas.

yea, in the civic. I also dont think you would hear as much port noise if there would happen to be any.

So if I was wanting to build a wall for two 18s. Would it matter where I located the port? I was thinking A or C. I dont see A being as loud though because the port will be firing against the front seats with no where near as much escape room. Any suggustions?

thats kinda cool that they make universel kits like that. can you get front kits like that too? I have air ride in my rear struts, and just struts in the front. They could be using a upgrade

I payed more then that for one of my spl dynamics...... and woofersetc seems to be overpriced on a lot of things Jason, is that dealer/competitor cost or an actual close price of what an average joe can buy one? Its down between a cactus 7k, stetsom 7k, or 2 spl dynamics strapped.

Im still kind of in a situation I guess........ I had a local cop test it. This cop DIDNT know how to use the meter, but at least I seen him reading the manual first. So I guess thats a step up from the cop that gave me the ticket saying it was 29% I tried to explain to the cop why the meter is wrong, but he wouldnt listen and pretty much told me I didnt know what I was talking about. I was told Im wrong, and the meter is write and he cant sign off on the ticket. I stopped at 3 shops in town that do tinting. I talked to each tint specialist and asked him to come outside and tell me what percent my tint is. Each one said 50% without a doubt.. My logic to why these meters read darker then the windows actually are is because almost EVERY vehicle window from at least 1990s if not earlier have some sort of a ray blocker from the sun. My car for example has something called EZ-Kool. It says the name on every window in the car. Some vehicles you can notice a sllight difference in glass color, but some you cant. What I am thinking is whatever type of tint or whatever they got in the glass to block the rays is being picked up by the tint meter making the windows actully read darker then what they are, without looking darker. So I guess what I will do is wait for my ticket to come in the mail. Then Ill fight it. I have a friend pulling me out a front window from a car at the junk yard he works at. Im going to tint a stripe of 20%, 35%, 50% and then just a stripe of normal glass. I will also do it one a piece of plexi glass (because they get a test card of different window tints that come with the meter) And then bring the window, and test sample I made to court, then they can test THEIR meter to my test card to their test card. Then they can also test the window I bring in to show that the untint part of the window gives out a read out on their meter. Then if need be go outside to my car and hold my test window next to my window for a comparrison. I think that should be more then enough proof of legal tint. I also found this. I know right!!! I love my 40 series flowmasters, they aint the real nice ones, but they do sound good. And they are 55 dbz loud in the front pass side kick according to the audio control meter I was on.. rofl and I feel pretty 'gangsta' cruisng down the streets with my tinted windows.....

The 4ks are huge.... you can easily tell the difference.. two 4ks in his trunk wouldnt fit side by side like the amps are sitting in his trunk. They are big in size like a rf t4000bd edit: these are 4ks in the back of a acura.

wish I knew. :lol: one reason I dislike audiocontrols.. I guess it gives me a ruff estimate where Im at. I can max out a walmart boomstick also. When I first tlaked to the guy in the white b4 i brought my car in I told him I wanted to meter how loud my car is not. and it took him a second to catch on, but then asked what I had and i told him a 1000watt sparkomatic amp and sub. So the first few runs I think they had it set for a max spl thinking it wasnt going to hit high.
