  5. Boo.... wish I would of waited to buy these DC lvl2 8's haha. Would it be possible to get them upgraded with the m2 parts? What would that run me? OR will the LVL2 m2's come in an 8? Let me know. BTW mine haven't seen power yet still in the box haha.
  6. Sorry got busy here at work, Ill you you guys up tommarrow. Thanks again
  7. Yes sir, they're M8. What adaptors do you suggest because I don't see any M8's on the site
  8. Ah yeah they might be 8m Ill double check them on my lunch break. Im @ work slakin off atm haha. IIRC I got the battery in a trade from a member here. Not sure where he got it tho. But yeah let me double check the bolt's size and il get back to you around lunch time.
  9. So I was going to replace my Stock battery in my Chrysler 300 with my D3100 form my old setup in my taurus. So I oredred some 580 (short SAE posts) for it that way I could just hook it up with the factory mounts. According to the 4xspower website.... : D3100 Weight Lbs. – 75.4 Weight Kgs. – 34.2 Length - 12.99 in Height – 8.43 in Width – 6.81 in MAX Amps – 5000 Ah - 110 MSRP – $549.99 Suggested Accessories: i-BAR, 580(“short” SAE posts) SO I ordered some 580, they arrived yesterday. They're 6m bolts tho... Why, when the battery calls for 10m. Don't make sense, you'd think the sites info would be correct but its not. SO, wtf? Maybe Im missing something?
  10. Looking forward to it. Seems like you guys have way too much fun haha.
  11. BOOOOO Im in west texas . Good stuff tho man.
  12. Would a port down the middle be better than one down the side?
  13. Better? (Don't worry I'll center the cutouts) Box: 24W X 12H X 13D (1.57227cu ft) Port: 11.8125W X 10.5H X 26.35373644L
  14. yeah has to be working. Ive seen pics of them but i dont remember where.
  15. I WTB a 09 DC PAI 1000.1 or a DC 1.2K. Id perfer the pai 1000.1 over the DC 1.2k (just because the aluminum inserts look mad sexy). I have a 09 DC PAI 3000.1 that I could do a partial trade for one of the DC amps plus cash. Let mek know. 09 DC Audio PAI 3000.1 Mono Amp - Rare!! I was one of the lucky few to be able to snag one of these off my man Rusty. This amp is a straight BEAST. I ran it at .5 ohm daily and never had any trouble with it. there is a small knick in the bottom left of the top plate's paint but be sides that.. this thing is flawless.... 10/10 Mechanically and 9/10 Cosmetically. Comes with original box, bass knob and cord. Only getting rid of because I down graded subs to DC lvl2 8's to improve gas milage in my new ride. Specs: RMS power, 1 ohm mono - 3000W x 1CH RMS power, 2 ohm mono - 1500W x 1CH RMS power, 4 ohm mono - 750W x 1CH RMS power, 2 ohm linked - 5400W x 1CH Double Sided Through Hole Epoxy PCB 1 Ohm Stable Circuit Daisy Chain Through Output RCA Two Amp Linkable Function: Output Master And Input Slave 24db/Oct Variable Crossover Multi Way Protection Circuitry (thermal/over current/speaker short/speaker dc protection) RCA Line Input Subsonic Filter Variable Bass Boost Variable Low Pass Filter Variable Phase Shift Zero Gauge Power Supply Connectors Tested Voltage & THD: 14.4V & Less Than 1% THD Operating Voltage: DC 10V-16V Power Input Wired Remote Controller
  16. Sorry been busy, work etc. Reason I ask is because I have an 09 DC PAI 3000.1 and rather not get rid of it in case I want to upgrade again. I recently traded in my Taurus and striped all the audio gear b4 trading it in. He (my friend) was thinking about using my amp for the time being but we wasn't sure how to tune it with the dmm. Yeah you can wire it to 3ohm and get 1500rms but im sure it does way more than rated. Was just wondering how to get the best both worlds.
  17. with 2 to 1.8cu ft before displacement?
  18. I always thought separate chambers was the way to go? Would common chambers yeld more response? Or since its such little air space it shold be shared?
  19. I was talking to a friend about the dd-1 one today and he asked me a good question. Say you have an amp that does 3k but you only want to push 1k with it... How would you set the amp with the dd-1? Now I know how to do it with a DMM but not the DD-1. Any Ideas?
  20. OK SOOOO ... I ordered 2 DC lvl 2 8 last night. So I sketched up these plans using Google sketch up. DC recommends .8 cubic ft per sub. This is what i came up with. Overall dimensions of 29.25in Width x 12in Height x 15in Depth Each chamber would be 15in Width x 12in Height x 15in Depth giving me an internal dimensions of 13.5in Width x 10.5in Height x 13.5in Depth ( 1.10742 cubic ft per chamber ) I want to tune it to 33 ish (is this a good range for these 8's?) For the port measurements this is what I got. 1.25in Port Width x 10.5 Port Height x 1.10742 cu ft gives me a port length of 26.5180... Would the 1.25in port at this size give me port noise from being so small? 1.10742cu ft - .10 sub displacement - .05583 port displacement Which would give me .95159 per chamber after displacement. Hows my math? Does the sketch up look legit like it would do the trick? Any suggestions?
