    Sub SQ is a lot more forgiving than mids/highs, as there is no imaging or staging. Basically a sub has to be precise and have a flat response curve...and 90% of that is in the box. So you can make just about any sub sound good, and a nice sub sound shitty.

    That site doesnt say what ohm loads are safe, but I'm guessing 4 ohm bridged is the lowest you can go. Meaning youre already getting all the power you can out of it.

    Yea those 18's off a bxi 2006 should get louder than those kickers, and they will guaranteed sound better. Just make sure you get the dual 1 ohm configuration.

    If those are dual 4 ohm subs, then you cant get 2 ohms. It would definately hit harder if you had it at two ohms, but you can only hit 1 or 4

    6 inches more cone diameter white boi...a hell of a lot more cone area for sure. A lot of people consider SPL to be "loud." It's not, I can almost guarantee you don't want an SPL system, because its almost a guarantee that you wont be able to listen to music. You want SQL. 18's loove being tuned low. Give em 13-14 cu ft net and tune at like 31. That'll do damage..

    You can bolt the 4 subs over those in the isobaric configuration i showed above. just wire them out of phase

    Isobarically mounted, the box becomes half the size. Basically you build it for 4 woofers, and you put one on each side of the baffle, wired out of phase.

    ^^^ haha i would man, but its a pretty small outfit, im the 3rd man of a 3 man operation i believe lol. But I might be able to get hooked up for my next system hopefully. Theyre a dealer for JL, MTX, Focal, Stinger, and I'm not sure what else, but those I know for sure.
